I understand its still very early. I just love the focus he has in the early part of the season. We'll see how long it last, or how he reacts when they lose a couple in a row. But as of now, I am excited. I was really bummed when my team made no moves this summer and I watched every other team get better. But if Melo can somehow keep this up all year, we will be right in the thick of the West. And its not just his scoring, he is making the passes, not forcing bad shots and is really being a leader. Also cant wait for JR Smith to join the club again. Melo as MVP is way early to say, but I wouldnt say its a laughable thought.

Definitely not laughable. He's the best scorer in the game right now, IMO.

No one is handing him anything at this point. I was just pointing out that its not a laughable idea. everyone can see that he is a different player this year. I just hope he keeps it up.

That's because everybody knew he deserved it, but they kept giving it to Nash. Even the Kobe haters knew he deserved it.
