Scary what this team can do when its focused.

We're now 2 games up in the loss column on Boston and 3 games up on Cleveland for HCA, and we're about to entire the tough part of our schedule...possibly without Pau for a bit. Artest is improving though. We've really missed his D.

Last night's game was much needed. Hopefully that snaps us out of the funk we've been in...even though we've only lost 2 games in our "funk".

Pete, I'll have that photoshop of you up in a bit.

LOL, nice. I fully expect that to be used against me when I'm defending Kobe on something.

Well, it's definitely sig worthy. I will be using that whenever I defend Kobe in a Webzone discussion.

Pau injured.

Is it serious? Probably not, I think.

Probably miss a few games at most
Gasol listed as doubtful for Tuesday vs the Rockets.
Im starting to think Gasol is faking these to avoid playing the Rockets this year.

More like faking them so that he doesn't have to play a quarter to half of the season. The dude practically plays year round with all the International stuff, he probably needs a little break if he's gonna be fresh for the playoff run. Hell, if the lakers are going to maintain the record they have without him in there, he can take as much time as he likes.
Last night, Kobe passed Ewing for #15 on the all-time scoring list. He should pass The Logo for #14 in a dozen games or so. That'll put him at #1 on the all-time Laker scoring list.

He should end up at #12 on the all-time list by the end of this year.

How many more years do you think that he would have to play to have a shot at #1?

There's a thread on the Laker site that I visit that keeps track of this. If he averaged 25ppg for the next 542 games (a little more than 6 1/2 seasons @ 82 games per season), he'll get the #1 spot.

It's a definite possibility, although LeBron will probably end up at #1 if he stays healthy and develops his skill set a bit more to adjust for when he physically slows down a bit.
