The NBA has such a boner for putting all of these huge games in LA for ratings, but the other teams (miami with shaq, now lebron with shaq) cruise in with nothing to lose and play out of their minds in front of a national crowd that expects the lakers to win. It's annoying, and it keeps setting us up for failure.

But so does Phil Jackson with his rotations, especially the ones where he keeps Pau on the bench. Pau gasol should never leave the basketball game.

He's mentally soft, and when things don't go his way, he generally stops trying. It's very frustrating to watch. Pau coming back may have decreased his touches (but not THAT much), but it doesn't explain his effort, or lack thereof. I'm hoping it's because he's 22.

The same thing happened last year in December with him, and he came back to have a monster January before getting hurt. Hopefully he can turn it around this year too. Very disappointing effort almost every night.

hahah THATS what it means. i have come up with so many random sayings in my head to try and figure it out, thanks stoney.

Bynum has a serious attitude problem, he kind of reminds me of a little kid that didnt get what he asked for on christmas so he pouts for the rest of the day. Whenever he gets calls against him he b***hes, starts a chain reaction that leads to him turning the ball over and pouting and then sitting on the bench, where for the rest of the game he doesnt play defense.

You put our other PG for the 44 min we may not be in position to win at the end.

I think that speaks moreso to the quality of our PG position than the quality of Derek Fisher.

I'd rather have Shannon Brown playing big minutes with the starters, where he excels on both ends of the court, than Fisher. When Brown gets minutes with the starters, we are much more effective than when Fisher's on the court.
