I can't agree with that. They were flawless in qualifying, until the last match which didnt matter after they had qualified two games previous, whereas the Ukraine who beat them were fighting for a playoff spot. They were the highest goalscorers in European qualification.

This is also the last chance for the so called 'Golden Generation' of players to produce, and unlike previous tournaments the South African winter weather conditions will be more favourable.

They are good but Id rather face them than Germany, Brazil, Italy, or Holland ... maybe even France too if they get healthy again.

Great draw. I'm not that confident in our team right now so every game will obviously be tough. But this is one of the better groups we could have gotten. Algeria and Slovenia? Come on now.

You do know that the top 2 qualify right. Also don't be surprised if Mexico finishes on top of their bracket.

Tough group for the US but we could definitely advance to the second round.

USA vs. England is going to be AWESOME. Hopefully the Yanks play with a chip on their shoulder and don't come out flat like in '06.

Are you serious? Algeria and Slovenia? Sure England is tough, but if we handle Algeria and Slovenia like we should....then we are in throug easy...even if we loose to mighty England. This group is a good break for us!
