Anyone know of a place to get highlights? ESPN sucks sweaty f**king nutsack.

yeah I managed to catch a clip of the giants highlights in between some redsox highlights about how lincecum had a bad day. they mentioned all his stats except for the part about him having 5k's in 3 innings!

Seriously. Out of all the ten runs, baseball tonight showed Bengie Molina's solo shot. My girlfriend commented that if they hadn't shown the score, she'd have thought we got killed. I f**king hate ESPN.

Meanwhile, they break down every f**king out of the Red Sox game followed by a detailed analysis. That channel is a joke.

Apparently that new baseball network is supposed to be much better.

what new network???

and another couple s**tty ab's by sandoval.
damn what happened hitting wise?

lets go giants

what the hell the happened to Randy Johnson? I love the 7 strike outs but if he gives up 4 runs then NO BUENO!! Sorry for the negativity so early in the season, but I'm bored
RJ pitched well, just got lazy with some of his pitches, i think the 2nd time around for the Rotation will be much better, Lincecum and RJ will bounce back
Was at game and thought RJ pitched well. People should not think he is going to win 15 games. The guys is 46 years old! He made a horrible pitch to Garalldo but other than that looked good.

Molina has to take some of the blame for that pitch to the opposing pitcher. The count was 1-2 and they tried to waste a high fastball. How about one of Johnson's patented slider in the dirt? I promise you no pitcher will hit that pitch. Horrible pitch seletion there.

Burriss and Renteria look terrible so far at the plate. BIG worries if you ask me.

That was just poor pitch selection, but after watching highlights, RJ pitched a hell of a game for being 45 years old. Our rotation is solid. I mean last year Cain, Timmy, and Sanchez all had 100 strike outs, which is pretty damn good. Rowand is off to an amazing start, but we all know that just cannot last. Our relievers have yet to be really tested so we will just have to see how they handle big pressure situations in the future, and of course we still need a hitter! I was reading an article the other day (sorry for no link) and they were talking about how Bruce Bochy was hinting that we would go after someone big during trade time....something about teams will be desperate to get rid of people and the Giants will take advantage of that. Maybe we get a big name, maybe not. If the Giants can go .500 then I believe we will make the playoffs.

I was at the game last night and except for the 2 homeruns he gave up, RJ looked good. I am not worried about Burriss, I think we are looking for him to hit .275 or so. Neither am I worried about Renteria. I haven't seen anything from him in the TWO games to cause me to worry about this season. If Renteria hits .270 and only makes errors in the low double digits, it will still be an improvement in Run production over last year.

In my mind this season is about learning to win and not accepting losing. If Neukom is right and we finish at .500, we will be in good shape to perhaps make the playoffs in the sorry NLWest. This season is the prep season for 2010 and beyond. The lineup we are featuring now, is NOT the lineup we will see in August. We will add a backup catcher. A change will be made in the outfield, and possibly the middle infield. I suspect, if we are close to the lead at the break, we will package a pitcher and player together to land the hitter we are looking for. I think if we are close we will see a high salaried outfielder gone and another in his place.

Even if we don't make a trade, I am hoping that by July, Molina is batting 6th, Burriss 2nd, Renteria 8th and Ishikawa 4th.
