Scheirholtz will start about 65 games. Maybe more. Each of the 4 regular outfielders will start 65-80 games.
I disagree that Schierholtz will get as many starts as Winn,Lewis, or Rowand. He is clearly the 4th OF and unless there are injuries will not get the same playing time.
Using your math, Rowand, Lewis, and Winn will all start less than 1/2 the time? I dont think so.
I'm hoping Shierholtz will take over for Winn. I know he had a good day at the plate today, but Shierholtz needs some at bats.
That isnt going to happen. Winn had a good year last year and is not in danger of losing his job to a guy who has never proven a thing in the majors. The only way Nate gets the job is if Winn is traded or if there is an injury.
Winn is gonna fall off
Winn isnt a superstar but he has hit double digit homers and hit over .300 the last 2 years. He also stole 25 bases last year. So.. I'm not sure you have any basis for saying that he will fall off. Schierholtz has 1 homer in almost 200 ML at bats. He may be a good player but at this point is not yet in Winn's class.

yeah I managed to catch a clip of the giants highlights in between some redsox highlights about how lincecum had a bad day. they mentioned all his stats except for the part about him having 5k's in 3 innings!

My basis is that the Giants have begun a youth movement in their lineup. Shierholtz has some good upside, if its not Winn, then he'll take over for F.Lewis...
