With Uribe you know what you are going to get... .240-..260 with some punch and a lot of K's. Bowker needs a lot of ABS in the minors and needs to play everyday to see if he can really be a top hitter.

Not disagreeing with you there, but we do have to realize that Bochy is STILL our manager unfortunately. Being a switch hitter definitely helps Guzman's case though.

Not if the Giants are smart. Uribe is very very marginal and really doesnt do much for the team. They have plenty of depth at the infield spots and Guzman offers a much better bat off the bench.
