Why did it have to be Landry? Sounds like he'll miss the first round, and then be rusty afterwards. It's always something, this team is cursed with freak injuries.

I heard he's only gonna be out 1/2 weeks i don't think he will miss teh 1st round.

I gotta give the rockets a lot of credit i been down on Adelman but he he still has them playing good defensive ball and they are a lot more physical than most teams in teh playoffs in the western conference. Size at the guard is eventually gonna kill them in the playoffs And the Lowry dude plays hard when he's in the game

I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS TEAM TOO LONG TO BELEIVE BEST CASE SCENARIOS. Trust me, he'll either miss or not be what he was, anything that can go wrong always does. WHat sucks is that Yao is playing his best ball and has been injury free. Now it's everyone else.

The T Mac thing jsut didn't work due to injury they just got to get another superstar to replace him and i think they will be straight can't afford to lose Yao though. But I feelyou rockets do have the injury bug at all the wrong times

Wow. That sucks the guy got shot, but there definitely is something missing from the story. WTF was he out cruising at that time of night? What started the incident? Are we supposed to believe that these guys in the honda, for no reason at all, just decided to sideswipe his SUV and then shoot him after he crashed. Did he just run and abandon the girl to be hurt/raped/killed?

Reading too much. it's Houston. It's a dangerous place, especially after Katrina when 90% of all NO gangsters relocated to Houston. If he was driving around there at that time of night, he's likely coming back from mid town like most people. That's the hot spot and all it would take is for some gangster type (town's full of them) to think he was looking at him wrong, but likely they were going to rob him. Houston isn't like other cities where there's a clear boundry betwen good and bad neighboorhoods. You can drive through the neighboorhood the Bushes live in and two blocks away is straight ghetto, then nice, nice, ghetto, etc. As far as the girl, unless it was your wife would you stick around with some chick from a bar when bullets are flying. I sure as hell wouldn't. And as far as being raped, it's not like it was kobe chasing him

Exactly for get the chic i'm out of there. And it sounds like a classic robbery move then they decided not to or something else happened that wasn't disclosed to the public.

Every single time I watch him I literally LOL and say "Thank god we don't have him anymore!!" Seriously, DJ Mbenga is way more of a quality player than Kwame.

I like the lead going into the half but they need to play better in the second to win this, like stopping Parkers penetration. If they don't do that the Parker/Duncan show will take over late in the 4th.
