just watched some of the cotto/pac fight again, and i gotta say i definitely underestimated pac's footwork, and just the way he can hit from awkward positions with pop while moving makes him pretty dangerous.
i still got mayweather winning, money may's not gonna just stand there like cotto and bring the fight to pac, leaving himself open for counters and within reach of manny, not without precaution unlike cotto. not to mention he's got that size and reach advantage.
but i don't think it'll be as wide a UD as I at first thought it would be. Mayweather's gonna have to try hard to fend off pac cuz he's gonna come after him all night. it'll definitely be interesting to see how (if) mayweather figures him out. if mayweather totally neutralizes manny he'll win by a wide UD although if Mayweather is in total control i could see him try and put pac down. if not, i got a feeling it's gonna end in a KO either way...either mayweather stuns pac with one too many counters and then goes off on him, or pac will gradually wear out pbf and catch him clean in one of the later rounds.
the reason i think pac stands a good chance of getting ko'd is that the size difference is very noticeable and also i've yet to see manny face someone remotely resembling pbf... manny tends to leave himself VERY open during attacks, which is EXACTLY what I think Floyd will capitalize on. Pac tries to beat the opponent to the punch and he gets away with it because he's very fast and he does get caught often, but most of the time he's going off on his opponents so they're busy trying to fend his punches and don't capitalize on the counters cuz they can't, plus most of his opponents so far have been flat-footed so it's not like they're slipping in and out of pac's way. floyd on the other hand has excellent speed himself, is excellent at fighting backwards and seeing punches before they're thrown... that normally would be a huge advantage for pac because of how fast he lets his hands go... but this is where the size advantage comes into play for mayweather, he'll be able to keep his distance which will help him see what pac throws. mayweather's jab is key... we saw it have effect on a very chinny mosley and made him think twice before going in... but if pac can take it well and/or find ways to slip past it... it's gonna be a long night.

Forreal... though I've heard that Arum isn't gonna delve into every detail of negotiations thru the media this time around... so it may be a while before we actually hear anything.
