"The doctor, Paul Wallace, is now defending himself. According to Wallace, Cintron was asked twice if he was able to continue and both times he replied "no." Wallace said he would have allowed the fight to restart if Cintron had indicated that he was capable of continuing.

"I did say I wanted the fight stopped because the fighter twice said he could not continue He was asked, 'Can you continue?' and he said 'no.' Twice. If he had mentioned to me something like, 'Give me a moment ... ,' I understand; these are warriors. Any hint that he still wanted to participate we would've given that to him. We would have got him up and given him a second evaluation," Wallace told The LA Times.

Once Wallace called the fight, he claims Cintron changed his mind and wanted the fight to continue."

I don't know why he quit. Up to that point he was giving a good fight. He actually buckled Williams earlier in the round.

Maybe he saw Williams was finally getting into Punisher mode and didn't want none
Khan/Malignaggi weigh in almost turns into a brawl

I'm getting excited for this fight. I'm rooting for Khan, but I don't think he's gonna walk on Malignaggi. Should be a good one; or at least better than Cintron/Williams

haha good s**t silk! Those weigh-in brawls never get old.
The non stop nose-pressing thing was a little gay for me.
I think Khan's got a bright future if he works at it, but all these articles coming out with quotes and soundbytes saying that he'll be soon ready to take both Pacquiao and Mayweather out...

I wonder if Roach fuels any of his fire about those two.

so who got a link?
Malignaggi think he has power in his hands all of a sudden?

No in and out darting movement, standing in the center of the ring, trading shots with Khan.

This is one hell of a sparring session for Khan.
Khan handled that ass as expected.

Khans' big time now. Got his own promotion and ever-e-thang.
Khan's good... not ready for Pac and Mayweather though.

Ortiz looked good too.

Freddie squashed that before the Malignaggi fight. Said Amir was taken out of context.
Roach: Pacquiao Khan will not happen
I'd rather not see that 4 man tournament Khan (or Roach) proposed. At least not yet.

I'd actually like to see Khan go up against Ortiz who handled Campbell pretty handily.

I don't think Khan is quite ready for Alexander or Bradley. Give Khan Ortiz. Let Devon or Tim fight Maidana. I think those would be some pretty damn interesting fights. It would be sick if it were all on the same card.
Khan has all the tools.
He just needs to sharpen them some more.

He is getting popular so that might slow him down.
