Yes, even though the 32nd pick doesn't cost that much per year

Just for fun https://overthecap.com/draft/ the #1 pick will count $6.689m in 2021, the 32nd pick just $2.031m. So anywhere in between those numbers, he's case scenario we win the next 2 SBs or finish low enough in the late 20s so those picks aren't high, of course worst case is we lose badly, end up picking high in rd 2 in which case we could always trade into the bottom of the 1st for someone we like that's falling.
Ok my deeper dive into the 49ers FAs & Trades since 2017 has published, https://49erscap.com/index.php/2021/06/28/taking-a-deeper-closer-look-at-the-free-agent-signings-trades-the-49ers-have-made-since-john-lynch-kyle-shanahan-took-over-in-2017-with-analysis/
Need your guys opinions, what should the main page be, the current years salary cap page, so 2021, or this https://49erscap.com/index.php/articles/?

I like the layout except for the two scrolling bars above and below the navigation tabs. It makes me dizzy trying to focus on the topic tab while there is movement above and below.

How much cap are they allowed to roll over?

I wonder if that was part of the reason they were willing to give up those 2 first rounders. The knew they had some players that were going be coming up for contract renewals. The cost savings may have been a small part of why they were willing to surrender those picks.

It's possible, or just a coincidence, since the price tag at the time to move up 9 spots compared to draft night was higher, we gave up 2 1's and a 3, Bears gave up a 1 and a 4 I think, no way Lance falls to us, and by trading up in March it assured us Lance, cause Lawrence & Wilson were always 1 & 2. The best part was them trolling everyone, including me, I swore it would be Mac, I was convinced, gut hurting, then when Goodell announced Lance, I said f**k YEAH, I like Fields too, but I also like Lance. But yes those 1sts no longer with us will save cap room.

Some thoughts...
1) Overall it presents what I (and probably most people?) look for in a clean way without having to dig into layers of menus.
2) Maybe have a single click menu item to get to the "2021 salary cap" as that is (probably?) among the top 1-2 things people want?
3) Maybe add a "detailed 2021 breakdown" button on the home page at the bottom of "2021 Cap Summary" to take people directly to the "2021 salary cap" as it is a natural follow-on to the summary they just finished reading.

On #2 above, maybe have menu items be "Home", "49ers 2021 salary cap", "49ers Salary cap projections?"( leave the 2021 page in the sub-menu for simplicity of navigation) , "49ers salary cap notes", "49ers depth chart", "49ers roster", "49ers front office" and "Archives".

4) consider dropping "49ers" from the menus or maybe just have "home", "49ers 2021 salary cap", then "salary cap projections", "salary cap notes", "depth chart" etc... (or maybe just even "cap projections" and "cap notes" as you have already established that is about the salary cap with "2021 salary cap") Some combination of these would let you add a single click for the 2021 salary cap and keep your menu section below the graphic from being longer than the one on top. It might even shrink the lower one enough to render on a single line on most tablets.

I know web design is a miserable undertaking and that sometimes changes that sound good in theory just don't end up working right in practice so don't take these comments too harshly. My shortened menu suggestions are also less formal and may not be consistent with the rest of your material and presentation. Don't have a good feel for that.

Thanks AB!
