Thank you, as I said, I wouldn't be as popular or getting the recognition if it wasn't for the fans who follow me. So I do appreciate everyone.

AB you are the king of cap around here. I want your opinion on just how much roster turnover we will see this off-season.
Will it be as bad as some around here make it seem? Which players do you think we will loose?

Has that been discussed? I haven't heard anything about this.

Thank you. I don't think it will be as bad as some think it will, I do think we'll keep Trent & Juice, I also think we have a good shot at keeping Hyder & Verrett. I can see K'Waun heading to the Jets, he's a NJ guy. I see us losing Sherman, Tartt, McKinnon, possibly Witherspoon, Jones, & Thomas. I'm unsure what they'll do with Tevin Coleman, I wouldn't bring him back, but Kyle loves him. Also I can see Bounre leaving, and Trent Taylor.

We'll definitely keep Moseley, Brunskill, Harris, Dwelley, and extend Warner. I can also see extensions for Laken Tomlinson, & Tarvarius Moore.

it's up to the player and how much of a cut he wants to take

Slash player salaries while going to a 17 game schedule? That'll end well.

I wish they gave an extra bye week when they increased the schedule to 17 games. That would make it fair and a lot of players would probably love that. It might reduce the risk of injuries as well.

NFL does not care about balance.

the uneven number would give an extra home game which would be unfair to the visting team and season ticket holders who lose out a home game

If they went to 18, they could possibly get a 2nd bye

It should be 18 games - with a 17 game, half the league is going to get an extra home game.

Looks like this might be the way out of an extra home game

Going to 17 games also would open up inventory for possible new neutral-site and international games. The NFL already has been playing games regularly in the U.K. and Mexico, and has been eyeing possible games in Canada, China, Japan, Germany and Brazil.
It should be a 18 week season, with 2 bye weeks to keep teams healthier, along with the expanded roster, and expanded practice squads. With expanded rosters and practice squads, they could still have 2 preseason games, so it's basically the same recipe the teams have been doing for quite sometime with a total of 20 games (4 pre season+16 regular season=20 games, compared to 2 pre season+18 regular season games=20 games) The new way how ever allows teams to stay fresher with expanded rosters+PS, along with the extra bye week to help keep teams healthy and rested.
Smh at richberg and ford salary cap number. All that money avoid playing football.

I don't know if it's feasible to have 16 games outside of the States this season with COVID, Canada isn't even allowing US NHL Teams in, that's why they had to do realignment, all 7 Canadian teams are in one division, same for the Raptors, they had to relocate to Florida for 2020-2021 season.

You realize I have them taking significant pay cuts, savers $20.825M, and they can still cut them at cut down.

Seems to me a relatively small number of high-priced free agent vets will be the most adversely impacted group. Can't imagine the NFLPA membership (particularly minimum salary types) voting for pay cuts to accommodate this group.

Edit: I'd be interested to know if the NFLPA even has the authority to vote on, and force people to take ,a pay cut. Seems unlikely but would still be interesting to know for sure

I don't see it as a possibility, and the NFLPA only has the authority if there was a vote by the players, or each teams player rep, the NFLPA can't just say, "sure we'll agree to cut salaries by X percentage" without getting the ok from the players themselves. Yes the NBA & NHL agreed to cut their salaries by a certain percentage, which it would be put into escrow I believe, just don't see this being a think NFL players would be ok with.
