Week 1, LA Rams Coaches Film Analysis

Wellll, here it is, the inaugural episode of the year. Some things I don't cover a ton but I'm seeing that might not be totally accurate: "Raheem Morris barely blitzed" Not really. He came with a number or run blitzes but they didn't get counted because it looked like aggressive run fits - but, I saw those same plays from the ATL tape last year against the Rams. "counter run" I've seen a couple runs that were actually wide-zone called counters. It's just a varied and voluminous wide-zone package. "Romello Height didn't do anything" He had one pressure not counted, completely opened up the rush lane on a stunt for Ogbo on Stafford's pick, his versatility helped create positive mismatches in the pass rush game when they moved him around. "we were bad against the run" we gave up a handful of chunk plays, but also had a lot of TFL's. Overall, LA only averaged 4.2 YPA. But, here's the tape.
