I'm excited to hear about everyone but specifically LG, CB2 and S competitions.

Those are the biggest 3 question marks for me.

Me too I just really wanna see who is going to win our safety Spots, our left guard and wr6 (Cowing) because I want to know who's going to return our punts.

i'm pretty sure Green has CB2 locked up, but Jack Jones wouldn't be too bad getting all those pick sixes

Really need an explosive returner. Sky was a hint of something that has been missing for years.

Training camp only means one thing to me. The start of the season isn't far off. All the battles and reports on who's looking good are okay but they don't mean that much. Guys get hurt and never see a regular season game. Vets don't really put in much work anymore so the rookies and free agents aren't seeing the same level of competition they did in the old days. Teams want to protect their high price beef. Even pre season games don't tell us much.

I put a little stock in it. I can't think of a guy who didn't get praised during camp go on to do anything during the season, so you can easily tell who won't be counted on during the season- see Isaac Guerendo in 2025. We saw how Albert Collins's holdout affected him at the start of last season also. Training camp is also where the realized Brock was QB1 as a rookie, so I'm excited to see what comes out over the next 3 to 4 weeks.
Its funny how much the beat writers love tc

its their time to shine because we are basically at the mercy of their observations. So many times they grovel over certain players who don't end up amounting to much of anything during the regular season. The #1 thing i care about is for the roster to stay healthy.

Those are the biggest 3 question marks for me.

TE is very questionable, definitely need another TE

Kittle - Achilles tear, and gonna be 33 yo
Tonges = weak blocker
Luke Ferrell = was poor last year, and overpaid
Dinkins = was 251 lbs at combine, is now listed as 226 lbs injured blocking TE

I don't think we'll be adding another TE this year who would be a serious contributor. I think we know what we have(or lack) at that position which is why I didn't mention them.

Obviously we all should pray George comes back asap and gets back to being his dominant self(which he 100% is when healthy)

It's funny because how much we crave football talk during the offseason.

Training camp is the first real opportunity for us to get anything of substance. Every year it's like

I can't wait til Training Camp gets here!
I can't wait til the pad come on in Training Camp!
I can't wait til we practice vs another team/preseason games
I can't wait til we see a preseason game where our starters play
I can't wait til week 1

One thing I've learned about training camp coverage - read as much as you can and understand who you're reading reports from. I still remember a play back when Kap was the QB that was being described in reports for that days' practice and like 6 out of 7 reports painted one picture and then 1 report reported the same play in a VERY different way.

That reporter? Grant Cohn.

I feel Enrique Cruz JR will be our blocking TE. He was drafted with no chance of being rostered this year as a backup or swing tackle and boasts great speed.

That's a really great thought. It does tip our hand if he's out there at TE but never know lol. Catch the D sleeping and he's catching a TD.

Smart move on his part. His goal is to get clicks. His strategy earned him fame for the ridiculous contrarian voice.

Spot on. My most memorable TC superstar from all that TC coverage was Dominique Ziegler. My second was Korey Sheets.
Besides the TC superstar and all the regularTC coverage, I'm hoping for a drama free and injury free camp. No BA, no Grant Cohn BS, no fights (.......amongst the team), and god willing losing no important players for the season.
Trade Watkins and a day 3 pick to the Raiders for Mayer. Mayer is going into the final year of his rookie deal and the Raiders might not want to pay a backup TE 10+ million per year. Especially when they are going to be paying Bowers $20+ million in a couple of years.
