Watkins? Hasnt touched the field in a year. He was hurt and or benched in 2025. Couldnt get on the field when we were desparate last year for WR.

Who? Bowers or Mayer? If we could land Mayer, he would have to come in on a prove it deal at a reduced rate. He was a great prospect, but never got a chance to prove he was good at the NFL level.

Got my TEs mixed up.. I said bowers earlier.. but I meant Mayer

why trade for Mayer and possibly overpay to keep him afterwards. If the trade is a rental, then it's better just to save the proposed 3rd round offer

I recently heard he's still recovering from the bone marrow transplant. I don' t know what the prognosis is. The type of cancer he has is serious. When they do the bone marrow transplant it's often the last resort since that's a major procedure. The major issue afterward is allowin ghte person's immune system to regenerate. They have to avoid large gatherings to lower their possible exposure to germs. All we can do is hope it was successful.

The success rate definately goes down with age. He's 63.

Well because its just random thoughts that we fear may happen and actually has no effect on what will actually happen. Us not having those thoughts isn't going to magically make it not happen. I'm sure we all thought please no injures last year and look what happened....
