More than likely a OG at the next level.

damn, I'm impressed. He's definitely not a tackle in the NFL, tho. That kick slide isn't pretty lol.

I'm hoping he can develop into a good left tackle, hopefully at about the time Trent Williams decides to hang it up.
A few clips of him in space pulling, kicking out and smashing people.

I mean that's pretty freaking athletic, they should be able to work with that.

I remember getting excited about Jarrett Kingston RAS score at C; just like this, and then they cut him. Not making the same mistake lol
Watch Cruz (RT) against DEs Bailey and Height - it was not pretty lol. To be fair, they did this to a lot of OLs, but Cruz has no kick-step. I'm not sure what he's doing with his feet. They said he's a tackle but he's gonna get bullied if he doesn't fix this at the next level.

Cruz ran the fastest 40 of all the OL. Fitness scores are very good. The one negative I heard was he doesn't bend enough. That's something he can be coached up on. I can see him replacing McKivitz when Colton's extension expires.

I still think he's a RT... he's gonna be a solid OL for us if he can stay healthy.. he and Puni gonna be something special on the right side..

Taking a flyer on a guy in round 7 who the position coach really wants is fine. I agree that the dynamic at this point is do we have a better chance of bringing the guy in by drafting him or making a udfa offer. Probably would have attracted a lot of udfa interest with his measurables so blowing our last pick on him is fine.

Taking Cruz round 7 is not the problem.
we gonna put this guy off the LOS and make him a U-back, wham blocks, motion iso leads, power kickouts.... now if he has hands and can catch the ball

with plus movement skills and arm length i think that would mean swint OT right?

Whats crazy is he was 2nd all time based on RAS score so good high potential pick i guess

Agree, and maybe he can play left tackle. I hope he can develop that far to be even considered for the position. He'll save us a future first round draft pick if that happens.

I'm hoping Jake Tonges can take that spot once Juszczyk hangs 'em up.
