A few OG Carver Willis Highlights. I think he's going to compete at Left Guard this season. He's good at get off, pulling, gap & outside zone, run blocking, speed & movement, his skills are better suited inside than on an island at Tackle. He's a swing Guard. pic.twitter.com/ja4roOop3u

Another fantastic first name. Very intimidating. Pity his surname is not Slaughter.
In terms of names, we're totally acing this draft.
Willis will forever be a great last name for a Niner
Besides 52, who else is there? Or is Patrick enough? lol
Jordan Willis block right here was legendary in my book. Literally won us the game with Huff recovering it in the endzone
How could I forget. Legendary play and post game interview.

explosive controlled violence in space, not something easily learned or have the ability to do... interesting pick

In the interview every team asked him to play inside so im guessing thats where he ends up. But what is intresting is that teams talked to him about playing Center. It would be intresting to see if he fits in at LG or C - my guess is LG but just wanted to highlight that

I loved how the draft played out with the OLine position. For center, we have Brendel, Nugent, and potentially Carver Willis. I love the fact that Carver can be potentially moved all around the interior OLine positions. Foerster just has to work his magic on him now.

Where are you getting the can't PP from,?

I think it's pretty consistent in all the scouting reports I've seen. Struggles with speed outside and power inside. Technically good but physical limitations are exposed against more talented defenders.

And then develop Cruz for LG and we have something interesting.
LT- Trent Williams
LG- Enrique Cruz
C- Carver Willis
RG- Dominic Puni
RT- Colton McKivitz

I think he looks like a future center with the way he fires off the ball and how good he is at run blocking. Shanahan likes those 6'5 inch centers too.

We should have a quality line where guys like Cruz and Willis are backups and push guys like Zakelj off the roster
