He's a 3rd round pick. If he turned into a good NFL player (not a backup) that is a grand slam pick. Temper expectations and let's see what he does

I don't believe this one bit, if you play 6-7 years of division 1 college football, you should be better than a player that has played 3-4 years of D1 football and is 5 years younger than you.

Today's re-class/hold-back culture wants everyone to believe that there is no real advantage to being older and more physically mature and this is simply not true. There are huge advantages, however nothing will hide the fact that a guy doesn't truly belong up with the big boys.

Just like nothing is more telling than a younger guy that can compete with the older seasoned vets (see; 22 year old Gracen Halton).

The 'older player is better' theory is a college football argument, not an NFL one. Yes, 6-7 years of D1 develops a more physically mature and technically refined player, I am not disputing that.

But the moment they step onto an NFL field they are equally inexperienced. The speed, the schemes, the physicality, none of it translates regardless of age

All that said he hasn't looked good in 1 preseason game.

Height didn't even use his hands and still straight up beat Cruz around the corner...not sure whether to laugh or cry. Height's body control and ability to sustain velocity as he turns the corner are very, very impressive, and if he doesn't get touched, he's gone. "If we're even, we're leaving." His timing is also impressive. These things were constants in his tape.

Cruz is awful. How the hell do you get beat by a guy that doesn't give you a move?
