Mike Evans, Christian Kirk, Ricky Pearsall (former 1st round pick). With huge holes at edger rusher, OT, OG, C, S and CB depth. Yeah WR is sure what we needed. We are just 1 more WR away. As always.

Nothing really against the player himself and I hope he succeeds. Just the position and the reach and stupid front office is more the complaint.

You need to post this 6-7 more times. Thanks.

This. He is a possession receiver.

lol yup

Nope. I'm numb to these types of picks.
Well said.
If they anticipate him being successful why not just take him at 30 and get the 5th year? This contract era with our WR history.

Then trading Winters after passing on Rodriguez.. really going all in on Greenlaw when Martin hasnt showed much? Shanny will find a way to make the playoffs as long as Purdy is upright... but they do seem to make it harder on themselves.

The funny thing is, Kyle said every guy they would have taken at 30 was still available at 33. The reaction out of here if they took him at 30...

Wellll

in fairness, we dont have a long history of WR's honoring their contracts......
First I'll get my admitted homerism out of the way and say that I love it because he's born and raised in Hawaii. Love the player. My nephew played for the same Highschool and helped a little with coaching when Stribling was there.

Nephew had nothing but great things to say about him leading up to this draft. Amazing character; strong family, and he's a lunch pail to work blue collar work ethic. I went to only two of his games (because of my nephew coaching) but this kid is a freaking dawg man. Stood out in both. I can't see this kid busting; I don't think his work ethic and character will allow it.

All that said; I hate the value and where we picked him. I highly highly doubt anyone takes him before pick 58; but I guess there's stuff out there that McVay and the Rams may have taken him before then, who knows. Hopefully this next pick is someone most of us wanted at 33 so we can pretend that was the pick and D-Strib was the 58th. That would make me feel a lot better lol

in fairness, negotiating a contract with Paraag Marathe is like pulling teeth.
4.36, isn't that what everybody wants the sexy speed? I'm sure there's plenty of naysayers on this pick. There's no pleasing this crowd.

Thats why not grabbing the 5th makes no sense though right? at least push the embarassing offseason drama off one year.
