Just another one of his million troll takes he makes on a weekly basis. Kittle explained it, in postgame evaluation/film study, etc. Strib was complimented for what he did well in the game but also was pointed out by Kyle things he didn't do well. There's no point in telling the guy how you did all these things really well and just let the stuff he actually did like crap go by the wayside. Otherwise there's no growth or improvement and doesn't help the guy maintain his high work ethic.

A Shanahan WR in their first year being OROY is an extremely long shot.
Remember, to win OROY you not only have to look good. You have to produce. This offense doesn't force feed anyone aside from CMC.

The number is this high because people are realists.

the skill that had puka dominating from the jump is a lot of awareness sitting in zones and getting the numbers turned to the QB

these awards are often bs, i wouldn't bet on this

Bc Kirk already strained his calf , CMC, Kittle , Ricky, and Evans all have a significant injury history ........ it's not a bad bet for our rookie to get a lot of targets out of the blue . Even with out a lot of target , he seems to have a break away speed to put up TDs and highlight reels .

from +12500 , to now approaching +1200 .

The media is getting insanely hyped over 1 preseason game by a rookie. Who put up numbers in College but honestly should have probably been better numbers. Given his athletic traits. He slightly under performed. But maybe there is reasons for that. An offense not built for WR or a QB issue in College. I don't know. But pump the breaks. Everybody has this guy at 1,000 + yards already and a lot of TD's. He didn't even play 1 regular season game yet. Maybe so and I hope so. Just slow down and hit the breaks. Lets wait and see.

He played for 3 average teams . If he had played for Oregon, OSU or any of the power teams his numbers would have been much better.

We just need him to be competent. Anything more is gravy.

From what I've seen on film he looks the part. He's bigger and faster than Aiyuk or any other receiver they've had recently. He looks like he has good hands and can go up after the ball. He blocks well too. Reports are that he picked up the offense really quick. If he and Brock can develop a chemistry then he could be special.
