Would be better off donating that $5 to a charity of your choice.

A Shanahan WR in their first year being OROY is an extremely long shot.
Remember, to win OROY you not only have to look good. You have to produce. This offense doesn't force feed anyone aside from CMC.

The number is this high because people are realists.

the skill that had puka dominating from the jump is a lot of awareness sitting in zones and getting the numbers turned to the QB

but let me just say he caught 105 balls for near 1500 yds
he did not win ROY
these awards are often bs, i wouldn't bet on this
Fun fact - since 1985 only seven WRs were selected to be OROY
Out of those seven, Moss is the only one who is in hof and maybe Chase makes it.

There's always a chance and some circumstances may help. Terry McMillan did win oroy this year.

But patterns don't lie. Zero positions aside from wr rb or qb made oroy those years, so any qb with volume passing or any rb with high usage rate will be immediate favorites.

Yeah exactly. Puka had a monster year but because cj stroud plays qb and was good that year, he won it.

I am not even gonna look up lines for oroy but I bet Mendoza is within top two as far as odds go.
His team sucks, he will have to pass a ton and if he looks competent against good defenses and has more tds than pics, provided he can have like 25 total tds he's probably a shoe in regardless of how well receivers do.

So yeah, just explaining why odds are so high for Stribling.

The Raiders already have Mendoza listed behind Cousins on the depth chart.

True but still we'll worth the shot. Low risk high reward. You simply put $20 and you can win $1200. The same with Brocks mvp odds. I think his odds are 20 to 1.

Don't spend those $5 dollars you saved all in one place .

Bc Kirk already strained his calf , CMC, Kittle , Ricky, and Evans all have a significant injury history ........ it's not a bad bet for our rookie to get a lot of targets out of the blue . Even with out a lot of target , he seems to have a break away speed to put up TDs and highlight reels .
he may need to be a serious contributer right off the bat for us to have a chance at anything this year

Love your name.
Guy made a really good point that the team was probably aware that Pearsalls knee could be messed up and they were just going to be resting it and hoping it healed and that explains this pick.
