There's a difference to reporting with a negative lens, and drumming up controversy for clicks. Grant doesn't help anything, he latches on to whatever negative thing he can be it valid criticism or made-up whole cloth. I can't believe we're still arguing about this shitheel twenty years later. But I'm no longer surprised by this country's idiocy and penchant for following terribly stupid people who say things confidently.

I guess whatever Grant is doing is working since people must still be reading hs comments. That's all he's trying to do. He doesn't care whether people like him or not. Media people just need viewers and readers to keep their job.

Wow, so he's two faced? In other words, his demeanor in public is different from his private personality? I don't know if thats good or bad, but folks like them usually populate the political realms. I usually stay away from folks like those.

I don't recall Johnny Dell ever being on Grant's podcast. I could be wrong though. I hope you get on the podcast of guys like Lombardi, Kruger and Maiocco than Grant. I just hope Grant isn't just using you or your information, but that's just me.

I don't know. I really didn't learn anything new after the Grant Con brouhaha. Its a *so what* kind of conversation. So what if Kyle reaches. Every NFL team has their preference. None of them follow consensus. It was much ado about nothing really.

Grant Cohn really is a rage baiter. Dude said Stribling comps to Ricardo Lockette and would be best as a gunner.

She really is a rage baiter, she's the last person to be giving out comps, such a fkin troll.

I don't learn much from any media spin, I think the entire thing is entertainment at this point and GC has decided to entertain his way.

If anything the guy is unique.

I wouldn't say he's unique. He's unprofessional and childish amongst a group of mainly respectable journalists. He sticks out in that group, but not really in a good way.

only reason anyone knows who he is, Is because his dad. He is also with SI - which really isn't what it used to be. No one takes that magazine serious anymore for sporting news or articles.

there are tons of rage baiting childish "reporters" online. He's just the most well known cause his job gets him access to the facility and his dad.

idk why anyone even clicks on his stuff. Lol I purposely avoid it. Even with Diana Russini sucking golf balls through garden hoses, has more class than him, IMO.

I think he's unique, with the new media there is no such thing as professional.

The fact that you read his stuff despite not liking him says a lot about his mastery of his clickbait style. The main issue is that folks don't agree with him, and I can admit that I don't agree with him but his questions are sometimes exactly what fans want to hear answers to when he fires shots at our HC & GM.

LOL
Back to the thread topic, Stribling isn't going to have a hard time finding the field if he can play since injuries always seem to limit our WR group.

You didn't finish reading what I said, clearly. Lol I said I purposely avoid him.

the only fans that he usually has are the same group of people that bash everything and hate everything the team does, imo. The very emotional ones. It's just an echo chamber of negativity, every time I've seen it. You can say you disagree with someone and then provide evidence of why you do. Otherwise, the person is just pouting and throwing a tantrum.

Everytime I've said I didn't like something, I can provide the football or business aspect of why. It's fine to disagree with people, just have a respectable answer and approach. That's my view.

And he gave that comparison not because he watched the tapes. No he found the one mediocre player that had the same athletic profile than Stribbling.
But you know it's not even him that annoys me the most. He's an a*****e, always was and will always be. No the persons that annoy me the most are the ones that believe him and agree with him even when he's obviously trolling.
Hell look at this forum. We had guys that were actually hoping that the Niners would lose at Phily in the Wild Card Round just to say "I told you so.".
