21 snaps zero catches, zero separation

Darnold…. One series, almost threw an easy interception, took a sack like a little b***h. Well on his way to being in the lead for most turnovers out of any quarterback AGAIN. Great job!!! 👏 maybe this year he won't take that title because he will be out a few games, but I'm sure he can do it.

Dude, you're trying to slam the guy who just won the SuperBowl? Comeon now.

Dude, you're trying to prop up a guy that leaned on his defense and his running game? Come on now. Do you even football?

Darnold won a superbowl like Trent Dilfee won a superbowl...it happens.

And why couldn't Jimmy G and Purdy do the same? They both had 10pt leads I believe... or at least were leading in the 4th QTR. Couldn't make some passes to extend drives a few times to put the game away?

Defenses couldn't hold a lead...

Yes… Afrikan really missed the point there. Had the 49ers defense stopped ONE drive, 49ers win. They could not.

Seahawks rode their defense all the way to the trophy, just as Dilfer had… which was the point.

Riiiight. Our defense went up against F**KING PATRICK MAHOMES and Andy Reid...on top of all their other stars. TWICE!

How do you expect them to hold on to those kinds of leads for so long if they keep getting the ball back?

Where as Rich Gannon went up against a Tampa team that knew him and his offense in and out because of Gruden. Of course Tampa was able to hold their lead BUT it also helped that Tampa kept scoring over and over. Something our offense couldn't do.

As for Dilfer, the Ravens defense went up against the Giants offense. I mean...come on.
As the 9ers put more offense on tape, and are dipping back into their 2nd tier receiver pool, they are going to start missing what Stribling was expected to add -- speed and big catch radius on contested catches. It's a huge bummer he is not out there getting experience and having an impact. It he was, I'd expect by week 8 he was going to become way more dominant and something that defenses had to start over-compensating for -- and that would open everything else up for an older Evans and Samuel.

I pray Strib comes on strong when he returns.

Hopefully they wont need him, and can ease him in but the back end of the schedule is tough, and not necessarily when youre going to want to get his feet wet. Week 13 Giants, Week 15 Chargers. Maybe vs the Eagles, that's about it.

is his injury considered career altering? I thought it was a simple fix?

He is done for the year and will be watching us compete for the ring alongside Ricky glass. Next year we will see how good he is but not counting on him this year.

He will be back this year and contributing in December. Your broken feelings are not opinions.

Matt Barrows mentioned earlier this week that he's still on crutches.
