Had a helluva playoff game

Don't worry about his production the previous seasons guys... I'm about to do numbers with him on Madden right now.

Guess this means no Deebo too.
Feels weird to have WRs that can routes.

Credit to him on that. I think it's a low risk signing, and Kirk at his best is better than Robinson at Robinsons best.

I see this as a win lol

I concur with that. We had good times with Deebo, but those times are in the past, not the future.
Grant Cohn - yeah he's always a downer, but someone has to call out mistakes. What I don't like is when you cry you don't like the move, but don't point out the better move. Sometimes it's just the best move available. Kirk or Skyy Moore - come on, Skyy didn't offer anything as a WR really. That said..........

The staff is clearly having PTSD (joke) from last year's WR debacle. When our starters went down (BA, JJ, and RP), the poor QB was left with mediocre (by nfl standards) athletes and not great route/scheme fits. Now their correcting with experience and professionals that can be in their system for the offseason. Will they stay healthy?? That is always the risk with the 9ers!

None of this stops them from drafting WR in the 1st or 2nd or 4th. And there is maybe a change Watkins steps up this season - Cowing I'm gonna give up on for now.
I remember watching him when he was a card against us and he stood out to me, only reason I know his name.

seems like we are targeting guys who can run precise routes against man and get open, which was what we didn't have this year outside of Ricky (and he was usually injured, specifically at the end against Seattle).

Kyle wants guys who can get open against more than just zone. Evans - Kirk - Ricky - cowing & Watkins (I that was our rookies name). Not a bad group.
decent depth

Closes the door on Bourne, Jennings, maybe even Robinson if cut. It gives them a fallback if both Watkins and Cowling show they can't play.

Bourne signing with Arizona probably closed the door on Bourne.

Agree. Gives them a little flexibility
