Great move. Definitely happy with the choice but will he have players to execute the scheme at a high level or will he be stuck with backups and poor draft picks who can't tackle, rush or cover? That's the real question. Great coaches squeeze all they can and we had that last year.. it wasn't nearly enough. Talent, health and smarts makes any coach look great.. take those away and great coaches become as useful as a paper weight on a windless day.

Not much to squeeze out the guys we have. Pass rush needs a major upgrade and we gotta get some ball hawks at safety

Our pass rush underperformed his past season. Most of the vets had career low numbers last year.

You can't plug guys in full time that were supposed to be rotational pieces and expect all to go well. It's a trickle down effect when guys that were supposed to play 15-20 snaps now play double that or more.

The DL didn't help the secondary, and the secondary couldn't help the DL by giving them more time to get there because we legitimately had 1-2 starter quality players in the back 7 after warner went out.

Elliott, gross matos, Bethune, robinson, Luter, jiyar brown, and a few others can all walk as far as I'm concerned.

Guys like keion white, huff (if he takes a pay cut), wallow, I feel are worth keeping around
Would really like to see what Morris can do with a guy like Sebastian (the Hulk) Valdez in his defense. Hope he can help us develop more young guys on the team

Love the experience he has, I think it's gonna be a great hire. Daniel Bullocks seemed more like a buddy to the players than an inspiring coach. Need someone to light a fire under these DB's asses and make plays,

Yep. He was a good player too. I remember intercepting quite a few passes with him on the Rams in Tecmo Super Bowl 😂

Great hire honestly because our DBs were making way too many mental mistakes out there. We need an experienced guy to coach up the young guys. Green, Sigle, Malik, Stout, plus the likely CB and S we bring in thru the draft.

It would be absolutely inexcusable to not replace Brown. I don't care if he's a good dude, he's not a needle mover as a football player. Let him go and get the next superstar at S. Sigle can compete and let the best man win.

Writing was on the wall for Bullocks when Shanny had to get in RG0's face in the last game.

When the HC is having to do your job for you on more than one occasion because your guys are always looking like they don't know the fundamentals, yeah, you're gone.
So I don't know where to put this because there's no Brian Fleury thread. Anyway, so apparently he can't help any tight ends get better not named George Kittle but good old Seattle wants to hire him as their OC anyways which they have. So now watch their offense be just as good as it was or even improved because 49ers.

Has Morris ever been considered a good DC? Doesn't he have 1 good year?
This guys is going to suck for us and let our defense down big time.

Cmon make me eat my words!
