I'm old enough to know that SEA was an AFC team all throughout the five Super Bowl wins. I was there. The only real rival we have in this division is LA Rams and SEA had one chip. One.

When I rank rivals I go

NYG
DAL
GB
LAR
SEA
and as of late

KC

You young dudes go SEA but that AFC team ain't got but one chip and that's new money to me. I'm an old school fan that's been a fan before most of you were born and I've got a bric at Levi's and a seat from Candlestick. So yea I'm a real fan and I'm not worried about SEA because 5>2. I rooted for SEA vs LAR and vs NE who has 6 chips already I'll root for the again

You new fans are something else

Grandpa, do you remember Steve Largent?

And Dave Krieg and Kenny Easley?

Easy to cope.
-They still have Sam Darnold at qb
-We can beat them and HAVE when ALMOST healthy (No Aiyuk wr1, No Kittle for 3 quarters)
-It's only their 2nd SB and was a gift with our injuries. Let's not forget, we easily would of had homefield advantage if not for the injuries
Seattle is going to blow out NE. Lol just accept it. They're a dominant team and have been the clear favorites for a while now.

It is what it is. They built super impressive roster through trades, developing, drafting etc. their defense is a beast

Fans don't live in reality. They want a SB every year and they still want to get the best players in the draft. The Niners have been to 4 NFC title games and 2 SBs while the Seahawks have been building their current roster. It's hard to stay on top when you keep winning. KC is facing a roster rebuild now the same as the Niners.

The NFL draft is structured like it is so the bad teams can get better with those higher draft picks. Good teams often have to rely on free agents to stay on top and eventually players start leaving because there isn't enough money to spread around anymore. Too many high priced players.
I have always been a Darnold believer. I thought he should have been kept. Size, arm, mobility. He's playing well. Seattle's front office seems to know when to pull the plug and pull the trigger. I hate them but kudos to how they've operated.

Yea Seahawks greats but I also remember my favorite player of all time Jerry Rice easily smashing Steve Largent TD record early in his career on his way to surpassing 200 TDs career. I also remember Bo Jackson blowing up the Boz

I also remember hating NYG for interrupting our three peat in 1990. I also remember NYG stopping us from winning in 2011 when Bowman forced that fumble on that RB then they went to timeout came back and ruled forward progress after Kyle Williams went full retard on special teams

I remember Bill Parcells facetiously dubbing the 49er offense the West Coast Offense. So much to remember and reminisce on

But mostly I remember us winning 5 chips and that SEA was a perpetual loser until the last 15 years so them winning now doesn't move the needle for me. Only you new fans and you youngins

The already won the SB yesterday
Davante Adams just reported how heartbreaking it is and was in tears that he has been to 5 NFC Championship games and has never won one.

I love it!!!

Yea it's gonna be the Hawks. They'll punk the Pats and we're gonna remember that with a MASH unit team we STILL finished third best in the NFL and once we get back five KEY players healthy (Pearsall Kittle Fred Bosa and Mykel), have a draft with Mac Jones potentially traded for another 2nd plus and a free agency, we will build back better with a third place schedule

SEA will start over with a new OC next year and Rams will endure a slump because they had the best offense defense combo in the NFL this year and STILL lost and they won't have that rombo combo again next year

I predict next year in the NFCW it will be SF, SEA, LA, ARI

I'm loving it too because he told us he wasn't a wholesale type of guy. Well suck it dude! I'll have fun watching the Rams implode and Aaron Donald can suck it too wit his hatin ass!

They are likely the better team. But anything can happen on one given Sunday. I suspect they have the roster advantage. The Patriots are young especially at QB. But he is pretty talented.
It's going to suck, first step is acceptance.

However in the end we all hopefully live to see the next day. Yes Seahawk fans will have more trash to talk but it's a game and as much as most of us love it...our lives will move on and everyone starts the 2026 season 0-0.

My bigger concern is the 49ers. Free agency, draft and what's going on with our injury issues and figuring out whatever devil is possessing our franchise.

Cuz honestly it has to be an occult thing right? We make the SBs and we're playing dynasty teams with HOF level QBs. Our division rivals make the SB and they get very flawed rosters who they're perfectly built to beat.

Really ? Just luck huh ?
At this point I'd prefer Seattle to NE getting their 7th. Plus at least Seattle would be deserving. They smoked the Niners, beat the Rams, and had a good team all year. The Patriots winning almost feels like a fake win as they seemed to get a lot breaks during the season, didn't have to deal with Allen, Mahomes etc, and played the AFC Championship against a backup.

Seattle may have won the SB no matter who was coming from the AFC so as much as it makes me sick to think of them winning, especially at Levi's, I prefer it to the stinking Rams.
Am I cheering for them? Hell no. I want there to be a problem with the field and have to cancel the game lol.
But between SEA and NE I'll be less annoyed with a SEA win.
