There was even s as mention of suicide at half time. And not all the keyboard , living at home with mommy GM getting on acting like they know better than everyone when in all actuality it's hard for them to hold down a McDonald's job.

This season has way more surprising and fun than yall think. Yes it's over but damn. Were we even supposed to be here. I agree thway we lost sucked but we literally had everything stacked against us. Nearly every star player misses significant time. No other team would have made the playoffs. Hell allot of teams had few injuries to star players and had losing records. Allot of younger players got significant time. That's crucial but for some of you coming on here bashing aGM and Coach who literally took a no man's roster and got to Divisional Round and your complaining.

What was your post after we lost the Super Bowl in 2023 when health and player personnel was not an issue ? I bet something similar to what you just posted

They were a mess and most likely going to win it two years into a coach and roster change. If it's the Rams, it would be multiple SB wins for this franchise with SM as head coach.

We are going into year 10 or will it be 11 and we can't get it done. The damn Hawks, two years and I bet $1 they will be lifting the trophy. Why can't we get it done. I understand the injuries is same line this year as was last year etc.

i like Kyle. He should stay. I like John the man. He's awesome but I think we need a new look GM. I'm so open to that. I get the frustration but sweeping the issues under the rug as injuries every year is not fixing the problem. Fred aside, he's God, if the other injured players had have been back, I'm not sure it would have mattered last night. Bosa, love the guy. I do. But is he really living up to his contract? It sounds Trent is coming back, in his words. Awesome, he's the greatest but the fact is we are not planning ahead.

i'm not sure all the answers and I'm not making hasty comments, but watching the Hawks lift the trophy at Levi's two years in will make me sick. Seeing the Rams lift the trophy for multiple SB wins will make me sick. And how about a one up. The Bears lifting the trophy after one year in Levi's would really make me sick.

The bottom line, after 10 years, and a couple of trips we can't get it done. I'm not firing from the hip but something is not working. I really would like to see a GM change.

Well said. In a league where you can go from cellar dweller to champion in a couple seasons, seems like we wasted some opportunities in seasons past to capture our ring(s). Macdonald is here for years and looks like he is remaking the Legion of Boom. Meanwhile McVay is coaching a masterclass on how to run an offensive scheme and excel with a mini rebuild on defense.

Where does that leave us ? Just rehashing the same system year in a year out and praying that injuries, weather, refs don't screw us.
Woke up, still mad.

Yeah, I woke up this morning and it just hit me that we're done for the season. Its Sunday to when we'd normally be waking up to a game.

Time to shrug it off and look forward to August. Makes me wonder how this team will look like then.
49ers far exceeded my expectations this season especially with all of the injuries week after week. Can only imagine what could have happened with a healthy team. Time to get healthy & regroup for next season. Excited to see what the off-season brings to the 49ers

Silver lining getting shellacked is definitely easier to swallow than if the game was competitive and we lost a close one.
Thought I'd be more pissed off this morning but I'm not. Never thought we'd be in this position when every owner down. Always had it in the back of my mind that we were going to lose at point with this defense, it was a lot to ask for from players that honestly should have never been on the team or maybe PS. It's only going to make us that much more deeper in rotation as long as we hit on the draft and a few FA signings. Always a Niner no matter what.

I'm not even so devasted like I'm usually am after a loss, more like annoyed with some decisions and what ifs if anything. I just thought the injuries were going to catch up
Seahawks ended the misery. Been the injuries and lack of availability that killed us. Silver lining is that our depth gained full experience and the guys on defense were improving. Simple solution. Infuse more talent. Let's go for next year

Seems like for every needed win we lost a starter after. And then to even play for the #1 seed, make the playoffs, upset playoff opponent on the road, lost another starter after the win. I've never experienced a Niner season like this one, f**king crazy.

This is indeed a silver lining. A lot of depth players got a lot of experience, although we should have taken more advantage and given guys like Watkins an Martin substantial playing time to get them ready for next season.
What's our draft pick looking like?
