I feel the their secondary will lock up our WRs. So what is the point? If it's gonna be a hobbled Pearsall, Jennings, Bourne, WR Robinson... it's the same o'l same o'l. They look similar, and unfortunately might perform similar vs that secondary.. especially with a sped up Brock.

So imo, how about we try good o'l run controlled offense? Have CMC, Juice, Kittle, Tonges out there with Jennings (sprinkle in some Pearsall and Watkins for speed everynow and then). But just try to run it down their throats the majority of the time... then play action for some explosives to a leaked out Tonges or Juice or Kittle or CMC. Sneak in a few Purdy keepers.

Sure it will look boring...and we'll probably have to punt. But imo I think it is our best chances, regarding match ups. It would also let our defense rest a bit, instead of constantly being out there.

And bonus... and this is where I'll lose yall if I haven't lost ya already..

And for a few plays when we need a 1st down on 3rd or 4th and shorts.

Hell come out with Kittle lined up outside at WR. Tonges on one side, Juice lined up on the other (in his sideways stance to quickly motion)... CMC, Purdy, B-Robinson in gun.

The middle one, Gun right tight with Kittle at wide. And be creative from there....
RPO with CMC (motion out) and B-Rob. Quickly motion Juice over to overload on side for a run.

I know it's unrealistic to just install new plays with in one week, but I would hope Kyle has something similar to 22 personnel he can tweak. These are his passing plays, but more so runs. Again when we need short yardage.

This is a good post. Unfortunately you're preaching to deaf ears. Kyle is not going to change his playbook. He is going to run the same formations with the same motions with the same personnel. He only substitutes players when his plan A guys get hurt. No imagination.

It is a nice post. Unfortunately the main strategy of running it down their throats is not possible. Not the Jalen Carter there. But who knows. Maybe we get it together and move the ball at will. No one really knows how these games will shake out

Philly's defense overall is good but their run defense has been below average all year.

I agree that doesn't necessarily mean CMC has a monster game but it's pretty much our best chance.
This game is harder to predict than the Seahawks game. I knew the Niners would have trouble moving the ball against them. The Eagles are different. They have a ton of talented players but they've been very erratic this year. Hurd has been really off in several games and the defense hasn't played up to last year. Still they have the players and are capable of shutting a team down on any given day.
Just no major Injuries that will linger into next season. That's all I ask of you Football Gods.

But I know how cruel you can be to 49er fans, so this might be a fruitless plead for your mercy.

I have this awful feeling Pearsall will play, everyone will be so excited… and then on the second play of the game he catches it, gets tackled… ball returned for an Eagles TD while he remains on the ground

You know at this point it's clear we should be making deals with the football devil cause the football gods haven't listened to a f**king thing we have asked for.

If the Niners don't get an early lead they're in trouble. History has shown they don't do well in games when they trail by 7 or more at halftime. I think I heard they're 1-29 in those games. 12-44 when trailing by any amount. Kyle doesn't do well when he has to go away from his script and improvise.

Line moved to 5.5 points. So it looks like either Trent and/or Pearsall is not playing. My guess is Trent is out and Pearsall is playing.

Or the public betting all on Seahawks after the nationally televised beat down by the Seahawks.

Sounds like neither will play

What does betting on Seattle have to do with the SF/PHI line?

I think the line would have moved to 6.5 - 7 points if neither are playing.
If Trent is out, it's game over. With him we can get the run game going better and squeeze out a win. But it sounds like he isn't playing.
