Seattle Seahawks @ 49ers. 1/3 - 5:00 PM - Pre-game thread

I hope Ricky can play in the Seattle game. Kyle said that on Saturday (before bears game) that it looked like he wouldn't be able to play and the press conference after the game he said that Ricky dinged his injury early on but played through it.

i hope it doesn't swell up or whatever in these next few days. He's so good when he's available

Outside of Lenoir there isn't one guy from the linebackers and secondary that can cover not 1. That coverage on Loveland on that 4th and 5 was laughable. Bethune covering nobody. A blown assignment on a flat route on the last play. Linebacker play was absolutely pathetic last night.

Lol I've been giving Sam a hard time all season. He is very hot n cold. He seems to make improvements and at times even look clutch..then idk what happens lol. He is obviously still a vulnerable qb and I think we can count on him for a turnover or two. Why does he look so damn awkward? Lol.
He can't handle pocket pressure like Brock. While Brock tends to get hot..this is where Sam can start to see the paranormal/undead lol.

I am more concerned if we can contain Charbs. We have a tired D with a short week too:/. And being without Trent against this SEA D..would vm suck.

Nah, the offsides counts. Also, when you look at the passing defense numbers, they are atrocious.
You can try and say "red zone" stats aren't that bad to try and polish it up, but there's no truth in trying to say "they're not as bad as it seems".

This team has been phenomenal on offense, if there's any short comings on that side of the ball, this team doesn't have enough defensive help to overcome it.

The defense played terrible. couldn't stop long third downs. was constantly out of position and lost. got beat deep, got beat shallow, got beat low. tbh, I dont think the defense did anything "good". The best part of the game is that we had 2 stops and that we were able to pressure him into making a bad throw on the final drive.

Dee & #48 were actually supposed to blitz on that last play but they stayed back "to show caleb more bodies" - which it worked out, sure, but huff actually had a good pass rush and having two more guys coming at him may of not made it dramatic. on the other hand, maybe he had a wide open guy and hit him as the pass rush is coming in, who knows. I just hope the defenses focuses on fundamentals this week and body treatment.

Oh completely understand, our defense is not great. Just pointing out that had we not spotted them 14 points it may not have been close or as close at the end.

Knowing how this year is going, this game will probably end up being a 12-6 game.

Yeah, I understand what you were getting at. This game wouldn't have been nearly as stressful if we didn't have the pick six. If you give us that cushion throughout - it's a whole different game.

kudos to Brock for getting us in a hole and balling out historically to get us out
