At least we can focus on film and treatment during this week cause we know the Seahawks so well. It's an offense we practice against every day of the year.

what I mean is that it shouldn't be like us playing against an old HOF who's calling his own offense. Nor is it an incredible offensive mind who's confusing our defense with a bunch of young talent. It's a team we know.

my only concern is if it's raining. Hopefully it's dry during the game
I don't care how bad the defense looked against the Bears, Sam Darnold is about to crap the bed on primetime

You make it sound like its going to be a cake walk...lol. They are a different team from week 1, especially the D.

thats another thing that effed us up with this scheduling, saturday is indeed supposed to rain and sunday is cloudy

If that indeed is the case we're screwed…

Putangina…

On weather.com it is showing 50% chance of showers on Saturday, so not as bad.

But still a long way out to know for sure.

And? Lol they still have Sam Darnold Not worried
Why on earth do u move games to Ssturday? They don't give 2 $hits about the players.

yeah, Seattle has a top ranked Defense and ST. it's their strength. Their offense is more inconsistent - but has talent. Darnold is very hot and cold.

I just hope we see our defense redeem itself before the playoffs - inject some confidence. We can't let every team score 30+ and expect to make it far in the playoffs. the fact that we had one series where we didn't score and a lot of people thought we would lose cause of that, is insane. The offense shouldn't have to worry about winning when it's dropping 40+ and playing nearly perfect (outside of the awful pick 6).

I'm optimistic we will see a much better defense - saleh should just focus on fundamentals this week and film/game plan, while the boys get a ton of treatment.

The NFL schedules Saturday games late in the season (mid-to-late December)

because the Sports Broadcasting Act of 1961 generally prevents them from overlapping with college/high school football; once those seasons wind down, the NFL can use Saturdays to maximize viewership, capitalize on playoff buzz, and fill broadcast slots after all teams have had their bye weeks, offering fans more late-season football

Says 95% there
I would like to give a little context to our defense.. yes we did give up 38 but 7 was a pick six, and another 7 was on and offsides free play( that should have been shut down as our guy made contact with theirs) you can see a good amount of our defense stopped playing. That means our defense only gave up 24, still not great but not as bad as it appears.

The off sides thing made me sick cause i noticed that half of the guys stopped playing. I think if you're going to get a penalty pre snap, play should be dead. it's dumb that you can have offsides where the play is dead and off sides where the play is a "free play".

we only gave up 24 in that context, but that's assuming they dont score on the offsides play - not even 3.

The defense played terrible. couldn't stop long third downs. was constantly out of position and lost. got beat deep, got beat shallow, got beat low. tbh, I dont think the defense did anything "good". The best part of the game is that we had 2 stops and that we were able to pressure him into making a bad throw on the final drive.

Dee & #48 were actually supposed to blitz on that last play but they stayed back "to show caleb more bodies" - which it worked out, sure, but huff actually had a good pass rush and having two more guys coming at him may of not made it dramatic. on the other hand, maybe he had a wide open guy and hit him as the pass rush is coming in, who knows. I just hope the defenses focuses on fundamentals this week and body treatment.

We'll look better on D fo sho. We're playing Samuel (Sam) "The ghost man" Darnold. The only 2 teams I fear right now are the Bears and the Rams if home for the playoffs. With 0 pass rush against any good qb, you're going to be in big trouble. When you play a good qb who can wrist rope 50 yarders accurately, with the center pushed into him, without Warner and Bosa, you're gonna give up 35 plus. Darnold caves in the pocket a lot.
