All I heard all week is how elite the Seahawks Defense is, and how that is why they are better then the Niners. I know their defense is currently better then ours and our offense is better then theirs. And while I know our defense is bad, is their Defense really as good as people are making it out to be? In the last 9 games the only good offensive team they have played is the Rams and one of those games Stafford threw for 457 Yards and 37 points. And the thing is we have had a lot of common opponents and the amount of games that are close to the same point totals our defense gave up is crazy.

Here are the points the two defense's gave up against common opponents
VS. Saints 49ers 21 Seattle 13
VS. Cards x2 49ers 15 & 22 Seattle 20 & 22
VS. Bucs 49ers 30 Seattle 38
VS. Jags 49ers 26 Seattle 12
VS. Texans 49ers 26 Seattle 19
VS. Falcons 49ers 10 Seattle 9
VS. Titans 49ers 24 Seattle 24
VS. Rams x2 49ers 26 & 42 Seattle 21 & 38
VS. Colts 49ers 27 Seattle 16
VS. Panthers 49ers 9 Seattle 10

I know defensively we have gotten worst with the injuries and we are coming off probably our two worst defensive performances of the season. Besides the Colts game, in which the defensive scores were vastly different ( although they only put up 18 points, while we put up 48). There have been recent common opponents and those were the same.
Niners played the Cards 6 games ago, Seattle 8 games ago. Each game the cards scored 22
Niners played the Panthers 5 games ago, Seattle 1 game ago. 9 & 10 those were the scores
Niners played the Titans 3 games ago, Seattle 6 games ago. Each game the Titans scored 24 points

I am not saying their defense is not better. It is. But is it really elite like everyone is trying to make it out to be? While I know the 49ers defense isn't good, I just don't think the scores reflect an elite defense for Seattle. On the flip side, I believe our offense has been looking elite lately.

I think Seattle is for sure an elite defense just like SF is for sure an elite offense. This would kind of be like a hawks fan saying maybe SF's offense isn't as elite as they seem due to the schedule they have played.

Giants - 26th ranked D
Falcons - 20th ranked D
Cards- 29th ranked D
Panthers - 17th ranked D
Titans - 28th ranked D
Colts - 19th ranked D
Bears - 22nd ranked D

Looks like rain to stop by noon and cloudy skies until 7:30-8pm which works to our favor

Wind to calm down as well 5-7mph with gusts up to 15mph

It's officially game day and now nervous as hell...lol. Today's game could project our mentality heading into the playoffs. Whether we have home field or will need to gut it out on the road. I like our chances better st home.

The only reason we want the one seed is for the bye so there's time for players to heal up before the Divisional. Other than that, Levi's is an awful venue. The weather in SF is always rainy playoff time. And Bay Area fans are fickle. They cry when it's too sunny, too rainy, too windy, too hot etc. I respect Niners fans outside of SF more. They show up in numbers in opposing stadiums and they are loud and raucous. Not the cheese eating, wine sipping dodos in San Francisco.

And yet we are undefeated at home in the playoffs of shanahan era. The crowd always shows up and is very loud to the point that opposing QBs need to use silent count so I'm not sure where you're getting this from

Also Dodo's were smart. So double L here.
I could hardly sleep last night nervous and stressed. I'll be at Levi's by 12 to start drinking to calm my nerves
most important game since the last super bowl loss

hope the crowd is crazy noisy and wild tonight! ..... and that they dont break my heart yet again
