49ers may benefit from a rainy, stormy night. It neutralizes talent and evens things out. That may be exactly what we need, especially with the bonus of playing at home and Trent being possibly out.

Circumstantial things like Harbaugh v Carroll do not make this some deep-rooted rivalry from our end. It just so happens that the 49ers were a challenger during their fans' first encounter with sustained success.
Reading their forum and seeing the way they talk about the niners would have you believe a dude in niner gear boinked their wife or something.
I am not sure it was overnight...

49ers already played the harder game (Bears) of the last two
Bears had 2 extra days to prepare for us, Cucks have more, but NO1CURR / NOBODY SCURRED
Momentum and motivation is all on the Niners side. Love it or hate it, you already know who your CotY should and probably will be
rain scares me, purdy doesnt perform well in the rain or snow, and it favors the run game
I hear ya, and I do believe it crossed the minds of BP / Shanny at some point during their time together... all in the past. He did fine in Cleveland with not so nice weather. That ball and ground could be slippery, the Cucks will be feeling it too
Cucks lost a game in their house under terrible weather conditions this year so, they too are susceptible

How do feel about that, being a short week?
"I wish it wasn't. I mean, we just had a short week, so I really wish it would've been Sunday, but it is what it is. Hopefully the guys can heal up and be ready to go."
I swear if it isn't injuries. The 49ers always get the short end of the stick! They have played teams that are coming off a bye many times. Or short weeks and the teams are well rested or coming off a bye. smh i hope they do heal up quick and win this one! Forget Seattle!

2002's realignment doesn't make us rivals. Not now, and especially not in 2012 when those goober "12s" acted like they won the super bowl after 42-13.
Have the 49ers ever called the Cardinals a "rival"? Did the Colts and Titans become a fierce rivalry just because of realignment?

Haven't read any previous pages in this thread so, I don't know if it was mentioned, but other than TW, Niners survived with no injuries
We get Green and Kittle back and that could be huge. I'm stoked for this one and can't hardly wait... another statement game for the team

Hopefully Green and Upton Stout are both good to go. The secondary will have their hands full.
Didn't follow seattle tooo closely this year, but I don't think they dial up the deep ball as much as Chicago does and did last night.

Not only that, but they've always struggled to establish a fanbase, again outside of the GSoT years when they played in St.Louis . So who are we suppose to trash talk? 6 fans make up for their entire base. Yes, they beat us in the nfc championship in 2022. But I always look at that as the Niners beat themselves and lost steam at the very end . Theyre just a sorry ass franchise that's hardly a notch above the AZ Cardinals imo.
I have hated the Rams since I was a kid, I can't explain it, it's just in my blood, should I have to explain it, being a 49ers fan? Haha. As far as Rams fans.. the ones I have met are usually ugh. I know we have dominated them but idk, I have hated the Rams going back to at least 11 yrs old ..I can't explain. I was born to hate them I guess lol
Lol..but rn honestly, I can't stand Stafford, he is a complete a*****e to me..a lady fell of the SB stage and fractured her spine and he didn't give one s**t to go and check on her..tried to save face by helping pay some of her bills..he can go f**k himself. Nobody really talks about it either..he is just this great dude, doing great things...naaa f**k his ass.
Purdy would have probably dropped everything to help her..this guy saw her drop and turned away like a douche bag, srsly f him

We all know who the big bro is in this sibling rivalry.

It was the TO Sharpey incident. They took that and ran with it. Personally I've never been bothered by it except for a brief moment when Sherman was talking about lot of s**t as a member of that defense.
I get more bothered by the Cowboys and Packers having success TBPH. That is just unacceptable

The LA rivalry has its roots back in the 80s. That was with Everett and company. But yeah the Seahawks fabricated rivalry stems from the TO Sharpy incident…

The Seahawks absolutely are a rival. We've been in the same division over 20 years and played for a Superbowl appearance. Not sure why anyone would dispute we're major rivals

Only non 49er fans don't think there's a rivalry between the 49ers and Seahawks
