Not worried about Brock because the offense has shifted a bit these last couple weeks from the heavy reliance on passes over middle of the field. We've seen more stuff outside and I predict that will be the case in addition to some of the usual bread and butter crossing patterns.

Kyle had some interesting comments after the Panthers game. He did not criticize Brock's choices. He said the receivers were open. Brock was right to throw it to those receivers. The passes were just off. Or they were late. A difference of a second or six inches sealed those picks. We have all watched Brock improve over these last few weeks. He was good in Cleveland. He was better with the Titans. Once Brock starts on that upward improvement trend he's hard to stop. I am hopeful we have not seen his best yet.

Agreed. I hope he and Shanny are planning to have him use his legs more often from here on out. That was the version of Brock that led clutch playoff wins over GB and DET, and playoff football unofficially starts tonight. It's the best way to protect the football in a way that keeps drives alive.

Lets not be complacent with making the playoffs. Lets play hard and get this win!

Every 49er fan says the next game is a "trap game." The Panthers were supposed to be the "trap game." Then, I heard the same whispers against the Browns. Next up, the Titans. "Trap Game" some whispered.

There is no "trap game." Kyle has this team focused. So do the vets. Purdy has played better each week since he returned from injury. His passes are spot on target now. I doubt Purdy or anyone else on that team is going to get stuck on "trap game." There's too much at stake. They know it.
I agree with you on Purdy. The first few games his shoulder was sore from the first game and he couldn't rip his passes then he had the turf toe and tried to play and couldn't step into his passes and made the toe worse. But the last few games he's getting back to his gun slinging ways. Good to see. The team as a whole are starting to gel just in time for the playoffs. Last year left a bad taste in their mouths and I think they are on a mission and I don't think they'll overlook any body. If they can win out, and get a bye, look out because they will have a good chance to get to the SB. JMHO as a Niners fan since the 70's. Go Niners!!!!!!

So, with Martin on IR, and Wallow barely just getting here, think we elevate Kendricks and sit Wallow? They haven't cut Beal because I think they don't want to lose him on waivers. But with Sam back, even if Gross Matos isn't activated, I think Beal goes to the bench.

My guess at inactives:
WR Pearsall
CB Green
DE Beal
RB James
LB Wallow
DT Givens

If they don't elevate Kendricks, they could elevate CB Apple instead. If it were up to me I'd save Kendricks elevations for now and deactivate Pinnock so we can have 5 DT active.
Wallow was active and played last week on special teams I think. I feel like he will be active

Not sure what the plan is tonight for inactives. We need to have 7 inactive since we elevated both Apple and Kendricks.

Based on last game I'd make Pinnock be the seventh inactive.

Bro, everyone knows AI is fake AF…..😎
Jordan James is active. Guerendo out.

ST switch?
Whoa, Guerendo, Lucas, and Robinson all inactive 😯

Did not see that coming. I think Robinson and Lucas have been banged up though. All three are strong special teams coverage guys.
Congrats to Jordan James. Hope he gets some action.

That's interesting if Bethune is starting. Robinson has special teams value as a backup. Eric Kendricks has none.

I predict James gets a couple of offensive opportunities.
