Isn't this the guy the 49ers tried to sign before he backed out and went to Dallas last year, which forced the 49ers to then sign Campbell?

It must not have worked out too well for him if we're signing him to the practice squad.

Either way. Good veteran presence for a group of young guys.

he signed with DAL last year to play for his preferred DC Mike Zimmer. Zimmer is no longer the DC in DAL.

according to the article about his signing in the front page:
"In 2024, Kendricks started all 15 games he played for the Cowboys, recording 138 tackles, 3.0 sacks, three passes defensed, two interceptions, and one fumble recovery."
I wouldn't say that it didn't work out too well
now he's 33,... and Idk why he has not been playing this season but seems a good veteran signing and quite an improvement from Stone Blanton, who's been released

Most older vets go to the PS and then get elevated.

The more bodies the better at this point. We have the offense to win a Super Bowl just need the defense to step up.

That shows us how much we need help, we signed a guy who turned his back on us after making a verbal agreement with us in the past.
I really like it that he is only on the practice squad at this point.
