49ers @ Cleveland, 10:00 AM, Pre-game thread

Really nervous for this game.

Short week. Bad record AFC opponent. Great defense that Kyle has always struggled with. Likely bad weather on the road. Brock coming off a major disaster game. Our defense being hot cold. Browns having a new QB.

Too many unknowns.

For whatever reason we seem to have down games after primetime wins. The fact that Browns have a dominant defense we've always struggled with and we have less time to prep for it and we tend to play down to poor AFC opponents. Just screams ugly.

I just hope we win the ugly game. Need it cuz schedule wise there is only one "easy" matchup left on our schedule.

The weather and the pass rush from the Browns concern me the most. They are saying there's a possibility of lake effects snow flurries.

This one could be ugly.. The OL will struggle and Brock will throw at least one Interception. The Defense Is gonna need to at their best for us to win this one.

When we played Texans, they were coming off a West Coast MNF 7 pm start time, and their entire wr group out basically.

No excuses. Browns pass defense is elite. Their run D is just above average. If we utilize quick game/kittle/CMC I like our chances. This is the game for purdy to truly take what is given!

ST started out rough this year but made a hell of a turn around. It's wild how many games and/or bad positions our ST put us in over the years. I hope they continue to improve and become a very reliable unit/asset to the team.

They really have turned it around. Moore and Robinson are good returners.

Defense needs a pick six and a turnover in Browns territory. That should be enough. Offense is in for a rough day.

I'm going 13-6 we win.

Garrett bulldozes Brendel and McKivits into the snow, but Upon Stout gets a pick 6 against Shadeur in the 3rd quarter. Nothing happens in the 4th because of the snowstorm and horrendous conditions. Juice ends up playing QB and we run every down.

The Bartch/Burford platooning has been "interesting." Neither one has been particularly impressive but much better than Colby.

In the past, Shanahan has been excellent in countering the pass rush. Cleveland will get some pressures but I don't see some record-breaking day by Garrett.

I'm driving down from Toronto for this one. When I bought the tickets the weather said clear and a little cold, now it says snow in the morning and rain during the game which will suck to sit through!

I'm praying this is the game Brock proves the weather is not an issue as he has not ever looked good in bad weather that I recall, and I was at the disaster last year in Buffalo when there was a ton of snow, CMC got hurt, and the season essentially died in front of my eyes lol.

Would like to see a little more Brian Robinson this game to help soften up the D, and I expect CMC and Kittle to be doing a ton of short catch, big YAC.

I also hate point out I have been to 7 49ers games between Seattle, Green Bay, Buffalo and now Cleveland and have yet to see a victory so really hoping this is the one that changes the pattern!!

Hopefully Shedeur Sanders is just so bad that it doesn't matter if we struggle a little.

Reading the stats Garrett has more sacks than our whole defense…….not good. Our offense has to get 1st downs and try to eat up time but that's not going to be easy. Checked the weather forecast and it looks like no rain or snow at game time but temperatures in the 28-36 degree area. Anyway, I hope Purdy doesn't get generous with Int's and doesn't get buried in the field or it will be a long day. It's probably going to be an ugly game but the Niners will eke it out with a win. 13-10 enjoy the game everyone!!!! And Happy Thanksgiving

Why couldn't Myles's Garett move to another team like he said he would I guess he just insist on being the DE version of Joe Thomas
