wacha mean?? HAVE YOU NOT been around for the last 4. years... while their HC continues to go extra mile in order to win Super Bowls, our HC continues to believe that he can win with his Offensive Play Book by itself !!

I can't stress enough how accurate this is.

BS. You're basically saying one or 2 plays that didn't go our way means a team is miles ahead of us. If Moody made the FG and CMC didnt fumble there is no doubt in my mind we'd won the last Super Bowl. But the players did not make those plays and now the narrative is Kyle sucks.

And if shanahahan doesn't go 3 and out after the half after the defense picks off mahomes and gifts Shanahan the ball in their own territory.

And if the 49ers dont go 3 and out on 3 consecutive drives in the 3rd quarter.

And if Shanahan gets a first down or even runs the ball ONCE with a 2nd and 5 with like 2:45 left and keeps the ball away from Mahomes to end the game in regulation.

And if Shanahan kicks the ball to start ot.

And if Shanahan invested in the online purdy would have had time to throw that td on the overtime drive.

If if if if.

bottom line is the 49ers made it to the Super Bowl and was in position to win it. Thats all you can ask for your head coach. Not everyone is perfect and wins the Super Bowl every year like the Rams.

Kyle was relaxing on vacation while McVay and the Rams snatched Stafford. 9ers front office made multiple mistakes on over paying receivers and didn't pay the proven receiver in Adams. The downstream effect of missing out on Stafford was massive. These are just some examples. If the front office was as good as Kyle's coaching, I think 9ers wouldn't be behind the Rams.

We need to stop with this narrative. It's simply not true. First of all the Lions were never going to trade with the 49ers unless the 49ers offered an absurdly ridiculous trade offer that we all would've hated.

Lions new GM came from the Rams. They had the inside track not only because of that but because Stafford and McVay had a relationship, nothing crazy but more so than Kyle. The fact that he actually liked Goff meant the Rams could offer the Lions a starting QB and 2 first round picks. What would the 49ers offer to top that?

Not to mention Sean was also in Cabo, relaxing on vacation but god forbid we bring in facts when we can make Shanahan seem lazy...

Adams move had nothing to do with Stafford. It had to do with our roster. If you haven't figured it out the 49ers went into this season with realistic expectations and the irony is fans like you who are bashing the team for not putting a good enough roster together can't understand you're arguing against yourself with that logic.

You don't bring in big $ free agents at non critical positions when you think you're not ready for the big step.

If there is one thing that the 49ers have struggled with is holding onto talented players too long but part of that is also personalities of those players. We paid Deebo after his monster 2021 season because the guy literally carried us through that season. He was CMC before we got CMC. How do you let that guy walk in the prime of his career?

Same thing with Aiyuk. Monster 2023 season. If he doesn't injure his knee I doubt there is any bad blood there right now. But we didn't have a Jared Goff to send to another team. We didn't have a Jalen Ramsey. We had Buckner. Unfortunately we took a guy who couldn't stay healthy for us. The ironic thing was the rest of that draft was absolutely terrific. Every pick was a big time contributor.

Aiyuk - All pro level WR when he's healthy
Colton McKivitz - solid starter in the 5th round
Charlie Woerner - excellent blocking TE2 and a big loss we've still to overcome
Jauan Jennings - excellent WR3 and acted as our WR1/WR2 last two years and still performed well.

Oh yeah we also traded for Trent Williams.

And yet..our front office sucks cuz Kinlaw couldn't, stay healthy.

Sure. You're just explaining why they lost to the Ram's front office.

The excuses after excuses is just tiring. One thing I can understand, but it seems like there's 1000 reasons the rams are better, and none are Kyle's fault.

Give us the first 100...

King of hyperbole.

Stafford was vacationing with mcvay
Lions had an ex ram in the front office
Lions wouldn't trade to us
Lions required a kings ransom
Garrapolo audibled in the superbowl
Injuries to everyone
Kinlaw draft was "unfortunate"
Mcvay sucked without Stafford
We are just in different positions of the cycle and rebuilding
Kyle just hasn't had had great qb play yet( 9 years in)
Lance didn't work out, but at least they took a shot

I can keep going if you want me to

I asked for the reasons the rams are better since you said there are 1000 reasons they are.

So yes, please do keep going. Hell start with 50.

I said there were a thousand excuses made by supporters of our front office as to why the rams have done better recently. I didn't say there were a thousand reasons the rams were better. For that one ill give you two reasons. Shanahan and Lynch.

No you didn't...you claimed there are 1000 reasons the Rams are better. I expect you to list them.

Also using the logic you and others love to use...what have the Rams done lately that is better? Have they won a SB?

Literally the only difference in why McVay and Snead have a SB win and Shanahan and Lynch don't is because their defense was able to stop the other team holding a 3 point lead in the SB. A stop made by Aaron Donald, a guy already on the roster before McVay took over.

And the Rams faced a much weaker opponent. That's the only difference.

But yet here you guys are pretending they're lapping the 49ers simply because they got Matt Stafford in a trade that sent away another #1 overall QB who McVay already had on the roster when he took over.

The Grestest Franchise on Turf
The Rams appear to have done a much better job at drafting the last few years when compared to the 49ers, at least along the defensive line. Good for them. Matthew Stafford is an amazing QB good for them. I should point out that the 49ers are 1-1 against them this season. The 49ers have been riding the coat tails of a few great players from many years ago (Kittle, Juice, BA, Bosa, CMC). They definitely need to draft the next generation of all-pro players if they want this run to continue.

since our last SB in 95 the rams have gone 2-2 in the SB we have gone 0-3. 2 of those losses are on Kyle both of his games had a two score lead going into the 4th quarter and are considered in the top ten all time SB comeback wins for other teams.

The 9ers were trailing going into the 4th quarter of SB 58.

We only need 4.

-They haven't busted on their first round picks in the last 9 years

-They don't make stupid draft trades (Trey Lance)

-They don't trade away superstar players (Buckner)

-They don't throw out massive extensions (95 mil in dead cap)

Oh and they won the Super Bowl. So 5 I guess.

Tough to argue against this.
I wonder if the Rams fans ( if there are any real ones) used to say that for all those years the Niners were winning SBs and crushing the Rams. Nothing lasts forever and the Rams aren't that much better than the Niners when both teams are at full health.

Remember when people were posting all those memes talking about Kyle being Sean's dad? Wasn't that because the Niners have been completely owning the Rams since Kyle took over? How did we get to this thread?
