They came within a missed field goal of winning a Super Bowl and were blown out (to lesser or greater degrees) three other times.
Buffalo 0-4
Minnesota 0-4
Bengals 0-3
Atlanta 0-2
Carolina 0-2
Arizona 0-1
L.A. Chargers 0-1
Tennessee 0-1
Cleveland 0-0
Detroit 0-0
Houston 0-0
Jacksonville 0-0

i hope patriots don't get another sb above us so i don't want them to win
i prefer denver, rams, then seattle
Seattle winning one SB is like every other team winning 5. Did you forget the Pete Carroll dynasty that wasn't ? They only won one but spent a decade shouting and screaming like they were the 80s Niners. I could care less for that team and that fanbase winning another SB in my lifetime. The Rams is intriguing bc them winning it could sign the end of the McVay/Stafford era which could spiral that team into oblivion for the next decade. Denver I support because there's a lot ex Niners there that deserve a ring. Pats whatever. I live in NY. Their fanbase is as mellow as they come. Their spread wide across the NE corridor and for the most part Boston is a baseball / basketball town and football is just a hobby. They only became relevant bc of Tom Brady.

The fact that the 49ers have won 5 super bowls and have been to 8 is a pretty good resume.
I am turning 46 soon, and so I have been alive to see all 5 super bowls. And I was going to games in person when i was younger at candlestick park when they were winning those super bowls. When they lost the 3 super bowls i was watching games now on tv and not attending in person.
So i have been pretty lucky with my team. I know some people on this forum are a lot younger than me and have never gotten to witness the 49ers win a super bowl.

I am changing who I am rooting for. I want Patriots and Rams with Patriots winning it all. 💫

I hope all the niner fans don't watch rest of the playoffs so the ratings tank.

every scenario is terrible for 49ers fans. Unless Denver wins it, which is unlikely.
im just not gonna watch the next 2 weeks, see ya in September

I dont really have anything against the pats. Winning a lot in the past isnt really something I dont like.
Denver has Greenlaw who I will root for to win it all

With 7 championships. The gap will continue to widen. I was hoping to get those "'most super bowls" bragging rights back. But not likely with current ownership

If Seattle loses on Sunday, how heartbreaking for them to lose this year to Toronto in the AL Championship game and now to LA in the NFC Championship game.
But that is exactly what I am rooting for this Sunday.😆

People taking Rams. Spread is now Seattle minus 2.
You get 3 points for being at home so Vegas is saying Rams are the better team, which I also think to be true. 😊

I look at 2 different sites. One still says 2.5 and the other says 2 points.
