Yah if the season ended next week.

Yes. Unfortunately, Detroit, Green Bay and Chicago all won today so we need to win tomorrow to stay in 7th seed.

Now we are just rooting for Philly and Rams to lose which would bring us only 1 game back of the 1 seed since we hold the tiebreakers.

Chicago is a big surprise with their record. Maybe it's the new HC but they seem to be catching lots of breaks and a soft schedule, but then again we have a very soft schedule.

And it doesn't look like the Rams are going to lose a game for the rest of the season.

They're hot right now, but no team wins the SB in November. Still a ways to go.

Massive W tonight.

We're now 8-4 and 8-2 in the NFC. Our next three games between Thanksgiving and Christmas are all AFC teams plus our bye week. Hopefully we can go at least 2-1. 1-2 and we're not dead but it'll be a bit more difficult.

If the 49ers win this week at Cleveland, they will move into the 6th seed if the following happens:

Green Bay loses at Detroit

OR

Chicago loses at Philly

Both will happen. Thanksgiving game in Detroit ? GB not winning. Philly with a chip on their shoulder after that debacle vs Dallas.

I agree, we're both doctors for a reason.

I was looking at the packers and bears schedule and they got some tough match up coming up.

Great minds think alike 😁

Even though the above is true which I posted, I am changing who we should maybe be rooting for this week.

If 49ers beat Cleveland and Chicago loses to Philly, we move into the 6th seed as stated above as one of the options.

Bur on Thanksgiving, I think we should be rooting for Green Bay to beat Detroit. If Green Bay beats Detroit, then even if we lose to Cleveland, we still would be the 7th seed with Detroit still behind us. If we lose to Cleveland and Detroit beats Green Bay, we would be out of the playoffs.

So, if the 49ers beat Cleveland this week and the following happens, we will move into the 6th seed:

Chicago loses to Philly

if the 49ers lose to Cleveland and the following happens, the 49ers remain in the 7th seed:

Detroit loses to Green Bay

Definitely a tough finish for the Packers. That tie could be a huge deal.
