Yea that's only due to injuries. If both teams were 100% healthy and taken into consideration of how they are currently playing, I bet the spread would be like .5 (pick em') or something like that

Didn't the Rams only score 23 on us a few weeks ago at "home"? I know Warner is gone, but this is a game of matchups. The Rams have been offensive powerhouses with Stafford for years now, but somehow it's difficult to think of games in which they've ran up the score on the Niners.

No Warner is unfortunately huge against a QB like Stafford and a HC like McVay. Bethune has been playing well but he's nowhere as good as Fred in coverage. Our safeties are still an issue there as well.

I would love for the team to prove me wrong and shock everyone again but Rams offense is playing at a vastly different level right now. We'll need to get some lucky bounces to go our way - drops by their guys with ours getting turnovers from it, batted balls, calls to go our way...whatever works.

Offense HAS to be at its best. Only chance we have really.

Is Poopoo Nakua playing? That will help
We need Pearsall back. Badly. People need to talk about his injury more.

He'll play unfortunately. I don't want to root for injuries...but I'd love to see the Rams and Seattle play with similar injuries to us so their fans could get a taste of wtf we've been dealing with. Hell just playing with their QB2 and missing their WR1 would cripple both teams...that's not even getting into missing their top 2 defenders and all the other injuries we've been dealing with.

Imagine

Rams without Stafford, Puca, Adams, Verse, (nobody close to Warner)
Seattle without Darnold, JSN, (whoever their WR2 really is), Williams, (nobody close to Warner)

They're sure as hell not 6-2 or even 6-3 right now.
In thinking on this, I think Stafford is going to eat this defense alive and he'll score rather easily. However the Rams don't have a strong run game and they are middle of the pack for time of possesion. IF the Niners win, they will need to dominate the clock and they are going to have to match points not with field goals but by scoring in the red zone, ie touchdowns. The Rams have a nice pass rush so Shanahan will be calling for quick releases and short passes to offset the OL inability to stop the Rams pass rush. I see it the Rams 28 Niners 20.

Stafford has back issues. Played every game. Get a shot pre-game shut up and play. Having a career year with the back issues.
I was surprised when the 49ers beat the Rams in LA given all the injuries we had. It's even worse this time and the Rams are playing really well. This will be an upset if the Niners win but we see them every week.

Wait how is it worse, honestly it's actually better IF Huff comes back. They added Keion White and Ferrell. Not to mention Kittle is back and we didn't have him or White or Mustapha.

IF (big if) Huff and Pearsall are back then you can argue it's about the same. If Purdy is back and 100% healthy (lol okay okay I know) then we're in a better position than last time.

The D line is worse now than it was then. Now their #1 and #2 draft picks are out. Even if they weren't making a huge impact they were key rotational players. The Niners also had Warner.

How can you say its worse with just the loss of Mykel Williams? They've added Cle Ferrell who's better than Beal, Gipson and you could argue Mykel off the edge. They added Keion White who now takes an even bigger role with the loss Mykel and he adds even more experience to the D-line. Also am I missing something is Alfred Collins out? When was this anounnced?

One game against a terrible Giants OL where they combined for one sack and we're already labeling Ferrell and White as our saviors? I'm not saying they were awful additions but come on people lol

Where am I saying they're saviors? All I'm saying is he's better than Gipson and Beal and on pat with Sam O.. And in conclusion makes the situation better than what it was since the last time the 9ers played the Rams. And that was the argument you follow?

No Warner, no Mykel Williams. We don't know if Huff will be back or how he'll look. YGM also got some snaps early in the last game.

The depth on defense is paper thin right now and the Rams are hitting on all cylinders on offense.

It's worse because they've got several players that are beat up. Even the ones that are playing aren't fullly healthy. Several have been questionable during the week. Back when the Niners played the Rams in LA everyone on the D line other than Bosa was healthy and playing.

I know they've added a couple guys but they still aren't as healthy as they were back then. Not having Warnewr is a big issue. Adding Ferrell and White doesn't make up for losing Matos, Williams and maybe Collins. White has to show he can be a big part of this defense. We know Ferrell can flash on occasion and then disappear for entire games. That's one rteason he's bounced around and been available as a free agent. He's never lived up to being a 4th overall pick.
