49ers @ Giants (1PM ET, CBS) Game Thread

Doesn't look like YGM is gonna be back this week. Sam might be ok. Really think we need 10 DL active on Sunday.. At least 9 and I'd use an extra IDL minimum.

TBPH they were not bouncing back. They were a crap team fielding their D-unit that should've been put out of their misery, and they made us look like ass.

I agree that the game vs the Giants shouldn't even be close but if we can't find a way to pressure Jaxson Dart he's gonna run circles around us. Don't forget they put up 30 against Denver

I agree. And Houston was missing both their receivers and at one point had their 4th and 5th receivers lining up. Dart is more mobile than CJ. Must contain him if we have any shot. We should activate both trades White and Clelen for this game but I doubt they will be ready.

True, Houston's offense is not good, but they came to play (any given Sunday) and were more prepared, motivated and hungry than Niners were. We caught them at a bad time... after embarrassing loss and at home waiting for our sorry azzes

Expect Shanny to have another game plan similar to Lambs game. I don't think their defense is going to stop us often enough even tho they have the more talented D line. Their LBs and secondary can't be better than what we have, but the difference is Saleh. White should be ready but I'd expect a couple of mishaps since he's new to the system. I honestly don't know what kind of shape Ferrell is in tho

Kittle is fully back now, JJ is not as banged up as he was 4 weeks ago and we're not getting bullied as bad at the center position as before. CMC should get back on track after not getting a lot of carries. I think we'll be alright. We'll either squeak by and steal this one or win convincingly imo.

Need to run at them all game to wear them out.

Our Oline is absolute garbage and our QB is a statue. Giants will get at least 5 sacks. It's going to be ugly.

Our only hope is id Kyle can call quick passes and get the run game going so we don't rely on Jones in the pocket because he won't have one.

The giants have one of the worst rush and pass D in the league (24th vs the pass and 30th vs the run)

Have you guys not watched them at all this yr?

that Houston D is superior to NY and a top 5 defense this yr…5th vs the run and 4th vs the pass.

We may need to consider getting the ball first if we win the coin toss. I don't like that strategy but the past 2 games the defense has given up 7+ minute drives to start each game. By the time the offense gets the ball we are already behind.

If we are going to win we'll need to run the ball to keep those pass rushers at bay.

I love the idea and agree that we need to run the ball but we have a small problem there……we f**kin suck at it lol. Bottom 3 in the league yards per game and the worst average per

Feels like this will be Martinez's debut in the NFL

CMC has to run 30 times if the niners want a chance in this one
