Bradley Chubb, TJ Watt and Trey Hendrickson have the same number of sacks this season. Just saying!

I know your mostly kidding but Chubb stinks, his pressure rate is awful and it's tough to count sacks when they're in trash time or as a free rusher

There is no trade for Hendrickson that makes sense unless it comes with an extension. Even a late 4th is too much for a rental injured player. No extension no deal.

LET'S hope that this is what we are doing now, and that's trying to sit with Trey to agree and sign a new contract..

but is he worth the mega deal he wants at his age? i'm not sure he is. he may end up not being dealt bc nobody wants to pay him an extension and thus has no significant trade value. he might get the bengals more in comp value than trade value.
Does a pass rush fix our awful LBs? Don't want to throw in the towel but hopefully don't give up a bunch for what appears a very unlikely playoff/sb run

this. i never want to give up bc anything can happen in the playoffs. wc teams can make it very far and injuries to other teams can play a role.

that being said, do we really think we can win the super bowl without bosa and warner? that's ridiculous to think, in my opinion.

really sucks. injuries have insanely derailed
this season. we might be 7-1 with a healthy bosa and warner.

I can tell you one thing, having no pass rush doesn't help the defense at all. If you don't want to throw in the towel then we need to add pass rush!!! Not to mention we need another DT.

There is a greater than 0 chance Warner returns in the playoffs

Pass rush is our top need...it covers up other problems on defense

I don't think he is. But this is certainly an opportunity for his agent to use this as a soft free agency. To facilitate a better deal, surely Cincinnati would allow the agent to discuss terms with other teams. That would easily provide his agent with a dose of reality. But hey - maybe there is a cap rich desperate team who is willing to give him $40m. That type of stuff happens every offseason. Won't be SF - but he will know his market.

I would argue a 4th is worth it because you'll at least get a future comp pick back.

A 1st or 2nd is too much though without an extension I agree.
I'm guessing the Giants are waiting to trade us Kayvon Thibodeaux until AFTER we play them this weekend?

They would just inactivate him for Sunday if it was truly on the table.
