12 personnel and man-coverage and we win this game by 3 scores.

Since we're missing 3 guys on D line, they should have the upper hand...
I think Williams and Collins collect a sack each. The secondary just might get their first INT. And it might be Hung's time to break out

Doesn't mean much but how often do you see a 2-4 team be the favorite over a 5-2 team? 49ers are also 3-1 on the road.
Makes sense when you notice our starting QB, our elite DE, our elite LB, and our 2 best WR's are all out due to injury including a lot of other injures to other players.
With all of that, you would think we would only have a couple of wins at most.
Seattle pressured Stroud all game long last week and he really struggled.
Dalton Shultz was his go to receiver so we need to focus on him. They don't have anything on the outside to worry about. And Woody Marks is an excellent pass catching RB. Our linebackers are going to have to have a good coverage game.
- Pressure and confuse Stroud with blitzes
- Don't turn the ball over against that dominant pass rush
- Play two TE sets and keep Juice in to contain Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter. Kittle and Farrell will be used extensively and are great options to have to protect Mac.
- Run the ball and use play action to move the chains
If we play a clean game we win by 10-17 points. If it gets sloppy and we can't run the ball and that pass rush is able to frustrate Mac it could be a very close game

Easier said than done with the injuries we have. Just because Collins and Kirk are out of the game doesn't mean they have no weapons. Blitzing and not getting there can leave us exposed in a young secondary with our best corners banged up and our best linebacker out of the game.
We better hope our DL can step up and generate pressure without a lot of blitzing but it's a tough ask for sure with the guys we have there even if Houston OL isn't great.
Definitely can't turn the ball over on offense. Hopefully we can have a similar gameplan that we had vs the Rams though Houston's secondary is WAY better than what the Rams had in that game so it will be tough sledding but if we make mistakes on offense we better end up kicking the ball vs seeing turning it over.

Guys are gonna have to make plays. Houston is at home and isn't just gonna give it to us.
Depends how we hold up on defense really. I am concerned about scoring enough points tbh.
Niners 19, Texans 17

49ers still have a small amount of pass rush on the D-line it's not all done. Sam O has been pretty solid this season when playing and Mykel Williams is getting better every game. Honestly not too worried about the LB's now that we know Tatum is a monster. I love the duo of Bethune and Winters. And whether it's the LBs or secondary can we please get some INTs!!!!!

One of the NFL guys had it 18-16 in favor of Niners. Trust Eddie.

Wish I had your optimism about our pass rush. I didn't think it was all that with Bosa and Huff healthy. Then worse than that without Bosa. And I do think it's all done now without Huff. We'll see and just hope for the best I guess lol

Damn, Niner fans have invaded Houston!! If anyone went to the Niner Rush event today you saw tons of fans. Got to meet Frank G and he looks like he could still make some plays lol.
Gonna be tough to get a win imo but I think it will be a good game. There's gonna be a ton of Niner fans in the stands👍🏼
