Once Dallas loses today to Denver in a blowout, the final wildcard is just between Chicago and us, and we have 1 more win and have the tiebreaker with a better conference record.

No, no we don't. Making moves now likely just prolongs the rebuilding process. The goal isn't to finish above Seattle this year, it is to build a stronger and younger team so we can compete for a SB in the next year or 2. Any moves that we make this year should be to shed older expensive players and try to get more draft picks.

We are not rebuilding.

And f**k next we are always saying this. You act like the season is over already.

Winning any more games this season will not help this team. So many bad areas that need to be fixed. Salah never stops the blatant problems on defense. There were Texan receivers running around with (literally) no Niner DBs within 10 yards of them and he never adjusted. The defense can't make a stop on 3rd down to save their lives and they give up big yardage on 1st down every single game.
Hurt players or not, they just don't make the adjustments they need to make to fix the issues.

They need at least 2 LBs, 2-3 DL 2-3 OL and secondary help. Most of all, they need players that can stay healthy. If it was a single season like this, then it would be different, but we see this every single year and it's only getting worse.

Oh you mean like the three 1st round picks and 3rd round picks they used for Trey Bust Lance!!! Tell me how long did that set the 49ers back? It's been three seasons since that happen and we went to a NFC CHAMPIONSHIP game and a Super Bowl.

And how am I not being realistic? Do I want to trade the farm for a player or use multiple 1st round picks on a player?

We let go some talented expensive players and drafted and are playing a bunch of newbies.....sounds like a mini-rebuild to me. And nope, in no way am I acting like the season is over, but winning a SB this year is not gonna happen. We can still make the playoffs though.

You sound overly emotional today....did you lose a bunch of $ in a bet or something????

They're 5-3. Not gonna give up yet. Yeah, it is a long shot, but several guys are coming back eventually. If you can get in the playoffs, you at least have a shot.
