NOT since the 1988 or 89 AFC West I think... when Matt Millen said.. " we all stink ".. cause every teams had a losing record at the time due to injuries..

Glad this one was flexed to 1:25. 10AM games on the coast suck.

Gives me more time to drink before kickoff

We could build a playoff team with all the injured players from both sides

At least the weather isn't supposed to be brutal. Not too hot and relatively low humidity.

Only way we lose this game is if Baker beats us and extends drives with his legs. He's amazing at this. Need to keep a spy on him throughout the game. I expect Winters to have a great game.

84 expected at kickoff time. I remember attending opening day back in 2019, it was absolutely sweltering 🥵
Still a blast, but visitors side gets pummeled by the heat!

Having watched some preview videos on the upcoming game and watched Jones hobbling around in clips from practice this week, I'm really beginning to think that if the 49ers think Martinez has enough of a grasp of the offense to function, they should start him instead of Jones.
The Bucs apparently like to blitz a lot, so it will be important to have someone back there who has enough mobility to get away from some of that pressure. Martinez was the MVP of that scrub league last year, which I guess is a plus, but he did it with only a 56% completion average, which is definitely a minus in Kyle's offense. Still, I think his greater mobility might be a deciding factor in a game like this. Too bad Rourke is still not ready. Go Niners!

Low scoring game... Blitz happy dline with Vita Vea foaming out the mouth / with a woody just thinking about Brenda and that soft azz oline. Jones will die if he goes out there since he's already hurting. Final score 2 - 0 Tampa wins by safety

Martinez was definitely a running QB in college and the UFL. Hopefully if he had to play he'd be better than Josh Johnson ..
