I gave in and signed up for the Sunday Ticket on You Tube. I'm doing the month to month deal. Looking at the schedule it appears I won't need it for December since at least 3 of the 4 Niner games wil be shown in Eugene.

The fact that they're offering deals like the month to month tells me they aren't getting as many subscribers as they hoped. I know they lost over $1 billion last year. I'm hoping this is heading for a pay for view in the future where you buy only the games you want to see.

I think it's really dumb that you can't buy a "Team" subscription. Idc about the other games, i want to see 49ers games and that's it. Then you can buy a "playoff" package or whatever.

it's just dumb expensive for a ton of stuff I don't care about. i just want access to the 49ers games.

I may have to do the same bc a lot of the regular streaming sites keep getting shut down

It's a major rip off. I legit only care about the 49ers. I love football and watch other games as well but I only CARE about the 49ers. Why I love when we play early Sunday and win...I can relax the rest of the weekend.

But I'll watch other games on NFL replay in condensed form. Much faster and without the announcer fluff involved.

Sunday Ticket should 100% offer up a team only sub but they're greedy b*****ds knowing that people will pay regardless. It sucks. I'd gladly pay $200 a season just for access to every 49ers game which aren't blacked out cuz they're on local TV. So odds are you're paying that much and only streaming like 10 games if that.

It's $85 per month on the month to month plan. That comes to $255 dollars to get it for the 3 months I'll need it. You call them greedy but when you're losing $1 billion per year they can't afford to be greedy for long. If they continue to lose money they'll be forced to offer all kinds of deals. Their current deal runs through 2023 and if they aren't making money I can see the NFL just offering the games on some type of subscription. Per game or per team. No other streaming service would want that package if they're going to lose money on the deal.

In the end it's all about profit and You Tube ain't making any. Of course they're owned by Google but even a giant like them doesn't like to lose money.

I actually hate the 1pm games. I find myself not watching the afternoon games. Especially after a loss.

As someone who lives in North Carolina, I just said "f it" and did NFL+ Premium this season and I intend on cancelling it right when the regular season ends. Gets me all 18 Sundays of Red Zone for just $60 total, plus full replays and local/prime time games on my phone (don't really use those though—if we're being real Red Zone is the draw).

If they ever did single-game pay per view for <$4.99 a pop it might be worth it, but I know they'll do something ridiculous like $9.99 a game (I still remember a rainy Falcons/Panthers game here in Charlotte a couple years ago where they were selling tickets for $2-$3 a piece… ended up coming down to the last play, too).

I'm down to just two local channels, for Sunday football. FOX and NBC.
For some reason, they no longer broadcast CBS on the station/channel that once aired it.
And I'm not going to any trouble to get it back or find it back.
So, I've already gotten used to just listening to the games on Sirius XM.
If not that, then a visit to the Sports Bar.
I wish they would just let you by all your teams games. The price they charge just for redzone is unreal

Wondering who out of safeties or LBs will be covering McBride. Also wondering how they gonna play Kyler.

Cards being favorites on the road is slightly surprising.

Based on last year, and the number of rookies getting a lot of minutes, I'm not surprised. The line will change, IMO.

lol where are you guys seeing that they're favored? BETMGM has the 9ers at -1.5.

Home team gets the benefit of 3 points when it comes to the spread. 49ers getting -1.5 is basically saying Cardinals are favored.

So Vegas is saying the 49ers are favored by 1.5 but your saying they aren't…
lol ok

Home team gets 3 points in their favor and then the spread is provided to the public.

Vegas spread is -1.5 49ers(home team +3)

If the game was in Arizona Cardinals would be getting -4.5 in comparison.

Lol No, that is not how it works.. Moving on.
Not going to an easy game like some think it will be. I can see this being like last year where we get ahead, then take our foot off the gas, get ahead again, then take our foot off the gas, then make a mistake and end up losing.

We need to see Kyle be aggressive and keep his foot on the gas and we need to keep Kyler in check. Get ahead and stay ahead.
This is a tough one. I think back & forth and we don't have our starter at the helm.
Here is a "poor man's" scouting report on AZ, based on PFF ratings. - (because I'm bored this afternoon)

QB - we know all about Murray, streaky, dangerous on scrambles

RB - James Conner is a tough runner who has hurt us in the past, Trey Benson backs him up but won't see much time if Conner stays healthy

FB - they don't use one

WR - Marvin Harrison is due for a breakout game, let's hope it isn't us.
Michael Wilson is just average, Zay Jones is off to a slow start - generally not a threat

TE - Trey McBride is a stud, near Kittle quality as a receiver, not a good RBLK, controlling him will be crucial

OL
Tackles - RT Paris Johnson is quality - #4 overall in PP, mediocre RBLK
LT Jonah Williams -slightly above average in PP, "replacement grade" in RBLK

SUMMARY - Huff and Bosa will have to earn their sacks but sealing the edge should not be a problem

Guards - RG Evan Brown and LG Isaiah Adams are a pair off to a below average start. 49er IDL should be able to eat.

Center - Hjalte Froholdt - above average PP, average RBLK, veteran makes good calls -

DEFENSE -

EDGE - Josh Sweat and Baron Browning can get after it, adequate run defenders, Zaven Collins is solid all-around defender - nothing great but nothing bad

IDL - Calais Campbell still playing at a good level - so is LJ Collier, Dalvin Tomlinson decent rotational run defender, couple of nondescript rotational guys follow

LINEBACKERS - Akeem Davis-Gaither is a top-10 run defender, doesn't blitz much, Mack Wilson will blitz and does it very well, Brendel will be tested with his blocking calls,

CORNERBACKS - as already discussed in this thread, they are out of CBs. Will Johnson is very good when healthy, Denzel Burke, Max Melton, and Garrett Williams are decent quality when healthy but ...

SAFETIES - Budda Baker is one of the best box safeties in the league but can be a liability in coverage, Jalen Thompson is also solid against the run but not great in coverage. Dadrion Taylor=Demerson has shown to be a good coverage guy when the go nickel or dime.

I hope this adds some interest on a quiet Tuesday. Feel free to pick it apart and add comments.
