Difference between Saleh and the previous two goofs is staggering.

What's your honest opinion of CMC return and run game in gereneral? CMC while not bad at all doesn't seem as explosive. I wonder if he just needs more time or if age and injury starting to catch-up.

He's still a lot more explosive than Robinson.
Wouldn't be shocked if we drafted two more backs this year.

We were lucky to get out of there with the win. Watch the tape and see how many passes were dropped by the Saints. Balls that were bouncing off their hands, not from defense pressure but just drops. Had they held onto the ball it's a different game. No excuse for those types of drops, none. I'm happy that the football gods smiled on us today , but we need to do better.
I only remember 2 drops from the Saints early on. We had a crucial game sealing drop ourselves. Plus the phantom 3rd and long pass interference called on us too.
we won Debbie.

Damn dude. I just saw something that I thought might be a problem down the line. It's a shame that you felt the need to throw shade. You're a card-carrying member of the 'clown show' on here I guess. Karen. LOL.

Won without Aiyuk, Kittle, Purdy, Juice, and Bartch.
Let's not include Bartch.

Max Melton was carted off with a knee injury early and was immediately declared out.
Garrett Williams also hurt his knee, had to be helped to the locker room and didn't come back.
Will Johnson hurt his groin, came back in and then promptly left again and didn't return.
And they were already down two key contributors to the secondary on IR before this.

It takes a bit of luck at times, but to get two road wins on turf to start the season with one of them a division opponent is good stuff. We can build off this

As you said, if they had held those three easy passes early, it might have been a different game, but...they didn't.

I think the run blocking has been average and the defenses are gunning to stop it. The o line just needs to get it together and they will after they're in playing form.
I think the rookie rb will be rb2 by seasons end
