Saints are horrible. Niners should still win this game if they can just score the same amount of points as last week. The Saints offense is among the worst in the league. Just don't turn the ball over in your own territory and the Saints will struggle to score double digit points. It's next week's divisional game vs the Cards I am concerned about. Because you may need to score 27+ to win that game.

Cardinals are also trash

I strongly disagree. They have made nice picks the last couple of years and I picked them as Cinderella 2025.

Yeah I have no idea why people keep saying AZ is garbage. They have a really solid coaching staff and have made some good draft picks.

HOWEVER

Tis teh season they break the mold
If Brock is out for "multiple" weeks…. Let's assume three weeks (correlated to a grade 2 turf toe). I don't see them beating az or the jags. We have already seen how good the backups are. So 2-2 heading into the rams game.

Open up as favorites.

I wonder if we would be underdogs if Mac Jones has to start.

Line would move to -8.5 if Mac were to start

Both defenses are going to load the box to stop the star RB and make the QB win it with his arm throwing to his only reliable receiver
If Mac Jones does indeed start this game, is it totally crazy to state that Mac is equal to Brock or possibly even better?

Is this like an AI generated question?

If Mac starts this game - which he will because Purdy is injured - you would state he's equal to Purdy or better? Huh?

Agreed, they got a scrappy team
Mac Jones was drafted 15th in the draft and Brock was drafted last. Mac did lead the Patriots into the playoffs with 10 wins as a rookie. Brock has always had an elite cast around him. So you could make the argument that we are not really downgrading our position at QB this weekend.
Kyle just went on record saying Brock and Mac pretty much equals.

Would be a poor argument for anyone who have seen the two play.
