How many challenges do you get in a game? I know the announcers seemed surprised that the niner's didn't challenge that catch. I know they had used one previously, unsuccessfully.

You get two to start, and a third if you are successful on the first two.

That play should have been challenged IMO.

We were just lucky. That was basically the same miss as the eagles game. Thankfully purdy is okay.

Farell can't block so you might as well have tonges in there.

The reality is this though. He's probably going to get let go and go be some 800-1000 yard tight end somewhere else.

I mean if they can't recognize the talent by this point and figure out how to use him, then they are never going to get it.

Farrell signed a multi-year deal so Tonges is gonna have to improve his run blocking if he wants to be #2.

that's the problem, he isn't a reliable run blocker or pass blocker - so it's hard to get him reps in our system when it depends on TEs doing a lot. His catching ability is crystal clear - but he needs to build up his blocking and he would be awesome.

needs more reps as George is pushing mid 30s. I dont care how, put him at slot receiver, put him into 2TE sets, get him on the field for some snaps
