For our D I'm liking for Saleh to keep pressure in Darnolds face. He lined horrible during his last game against the Rams when they constantly harassed him.
It's so hard to say heading into week 1 who will be a top 10 defense and who won't.
Seattle did look like a top 10 defense in the 2nd half of last season and finished 11th in scoring and 14th in yards allowed - certainly trending towards a top 10 defense this year.
Their DL looks very solid Leonard Williams, Byron Murphy, Jarran Reed and Demarcus Lawrence at minimum are a major challenge trying to run on them. With Mike McDonald running the defense they'll be doing some funky things out there too and we better hope Nick Emmanwori isn't his Seattle version of Kyle Hamilton.
Their secondary was up and down last year but they have talent there.
Having said that it remains to be seen how much of their success last year was cuz they figured things out and how much of it was due to the competition they faced. They faced some weak offenses or offenses missing key weapons after their bye week when they went on their run.
Regardless the key to us winning will be limiting mental errors and turnovers. I think we have enough weapons and talented players on offense that as long as we don't turn the ball over we will be setup to win the game even if our young defense has some growing pains.
