Yeah, what a coincidence. We need to sign Kendrick regardless and IR Watkins. Makes too much sense to get him while we he's here. Thielen and Cooper went back to their original teams so Bourne might as well too.

Let's go 49ers! Start the year off with a huge Win!
We all know Moody is going to miss a kick in the 1st half that ultimately cost us the game later on and we'll have 1-2 injuries that cause the zone to go defcon 3
Must win
Few things I want more than for us to go into Seattle week 1 and drop a W on their ass. I hate their fans and still have bad vibes over their many wins against us in recent history. Things just go so much better for us when we beat them. We need it.

Having said that I'm just too unsure of what we're going to see cuz of the youth and guys coming back from injuries and inconsistency during training camp. I believe Seattle was pretty healthy for camp.

I hope simply our coaches are better and our players make more plays. I think we have the guys to take this one but week 1 craziness and starters not playing much in preseason i do worry about rust and sloppy play in a tough stadium to play.

Hope our young guys come to play and in a big way and our stars show up big. Get this W and stay healthy and let's start the year off right!

It's week 1.
Coaches generally like to face a good challenge at the beginning of the season to give a better evaluation of their team. This Seattle defense will provide that test. They were #11 in the league last year in scoring defense and return almost all of their full-time players. Mike McDonald has a history of shutting down the 49er offense. Hence, this will give Kyle the opportunity to evaluate just how good the offense is this year without the multi-purpose threat of Deebo.

The bigger test will be on the 49er defense and the unproven players in the DL. The Seahawks like to run the ball and will get right after the rebuilt interior DL of the 49ers. West and Collins should both get a chance to show up, along with Mykel. The outcome of the season will be told in large part by those three young guys. They don't have to be Pro-Bowlers to start the season but they can't wander around with stars in their eyes either. Saleh will make sure the latter doesn't happen but are the kids ready to ball? Seattle has a new OC and scheme, along with a new QB. If there was ever a set-up for the rookies to get their feet wet in a positive situation, this is it.

I'm expecting a close game with the 49ers pulling away in the 2nd half for a 10 point win.
